Went on a Saturday late morning , restaurant had only a few tables available , which was a good sign. Little by little people were walking out without eating. We were seated and after 15 minutes we got a coffee. We waited another 45 minutes for our food. Two young girls were the only waitstaff on and kept apologizing to everyone. It was sad and not their fault. So many people walked out and people seated before us were still waiting to place their order . When the waitress came to us , I directed her to the table of 5 waiting to place their order. They need to add more waitstaff and a quicker meal delivery .

I ordered breakfast with black tea. The young waitress brought me Earl Grey tea. If I didn’t really dislike the flavor of Earl Grey tea, I would have just let it be, but I don’t like that kind of tea at all. I told the waitress that I ordered black tea, not Earl Gray. When she brought another tea she said “you’ll have to pay for both teas, because you didn’t like the first one, ok?” That’s right — I DIDN’T like the Earl Grey, which is why I DIDN’T order it. I said, “no, that’s not ok. I ordered black tea and you brought Earl Grey.” She went to the manager, and came back with tears in her eyes saying, “it’s ok, I’ll just have to pay for it myself.” I asked for the full bill, paid it — about $12 — gave her a $5 cash tip and told her, “put that in your pocket and let your boss know that I’m never coming back here again, ever,” and left without the food. I hope she finds a better employer. I wouldn’t recommend giving this place any business.

The poached eggs were cooked perfectly; not hard, not undercooked, just right. The bacon was crisp just as I like it, the home fries were large chunks of well seasoned red bliss potatoes and cooked through. The service was a bit slow for a late morning breakfast order but the quality of the food made it worth the wait. My only small complaint was the coffee was simply so-so. I forgot to ask which brand they serve. It was hot but bland. Otherwise it was an excellent breakfast and I will be happy to return.

Stopped by for breakfast today and it was great. Western omelette had fresh peppers and onions very well cooked. One pancake on the side and it was the best pancake I’ve had in a long while, fluffy with a bit of a crispy cook on one side. Friendly and efficient staff.
