Tazza Caffe and Paninoteca sandwiches for lunch! OMG the sandwiches are huge! Authentic Italian Sue had the Tutto with mortadella, suppressants, Capitola, prosciutto stracciatella cheese, tomatoes, onions, pickles, hot cherry peppers and garden greens on delicious seeded bread. I had the LaGemma piadina with roast beef, tomatoes. Charred onions and herbed cheese. Both are excellent, Pictured is about a quarter of the sandwich. One of these sandwiches is easily 2 meals, which is good because you’ll want to eat it again and again! So so good! The endless piles of fresh sliced meats, perfectly crispy and chewy bread, and delectable sauces leave a lasting impression ?
This is my favorite sandwich shop in the area hands down. The quality of the meat is off the charts. The Valencia is my go to and you won’t be disappointed with the Calabrian aioli. Portions are huge and one sandwich is at least two meals worth. The owners are always gracious and make the whole thing a great experience.
