The food always tastes great but the prices have gotten beyond reasonable. The place used to be packed. People are tired of being taken advantage of. Service has also gone down hill. 😢

Overpriced food and drinks. Painfully slow service. Waiter never checked on us. Had to ask for our food as takeout because I had to go pick up my daughter at work. Disappointing, but lesson learned.
I had high expectations for this place, but it was very disappointing. Our waiter was kinda slow, even though we were the first ones in the restaurant. Food was whatever. The lobster ragoon was good but overpriced. Sushi didn't have flavor and again overpriced for what it was. Overall was very whatever.

Many of the rolls are drenched in sauces and ended up tasting pretty similar to one another..hard to taste the seafood and its freshness.

If you're looking for a restaurant with great sushi and gluten-free options, I would recommend checking out Yama Zakura. They have a wide variety of sushi options, including many gluten-free rolls, as well as other gluten-free dishes. Additionally, their ingredients are fresh and high-quality.

This was my 1st experience with takeout from Yama. It was an absolute ease. The food was prepared and ready on time for my arrival. The hostess was friendly, dressed appropriately, and well mannered, which is always appreciated!

FILTHY place serving spoiled food. How inefficient and careless do you have to be to mess up one order of fried rice? I ordered to-go and went home so hungry. The tofu in my fried rice was sour and the rest of the food was clearly spoiled. Had to go back and get a refund. I hope cuh places close down and make way for better, cleaner restaurants. You deserve to go.

Unfortunately, Yama has gone down hill over the past year. We’ve been loyal customers for many years, but we’ve have two recent takeout orders with poor quality food that was not prepared fresh. The spicy salmon roll was clearly made and stored….the avocado in the center was very mushy and brown. And the volcano roll was lacking seaweed and also had signs of being made previously and stored. It wasn’t bad enough to drive back and return it. Yama has lost a customer….we will not be returning for eat in (which has slow service as takeout orders are prioritized) or take out. 1 star is probably being generous at this point.

Freshest sushi around. Many good, tasty options. A bit pricey and service is consistently slow, but that is offset by the quality of food and friendliness of its staff. Great for date night.
