Norton Jade chinese Restaurant

FOOD IS NOW DISGUSTING! I ordered a platter for 2 and beef fried rice, thinking I was going to get the usual food that I always do when ordering from here. It seems they are under new ownership because all of the food is different than what the previous owners had. The food is bland, no flavor, poorly packaged and everything thrown together not cooked properly. We threw away 50$ worth of food and ordered Chinese elsewhere. DO NOT GO HERE ANYMORE!!!! I had no clue it was under new owners and I am so mad that I wasted my money and time picking up that food. Now on the hunt for a good Chinese restaurant. Nothing will top the previous owners. 0 out of 5 STARS FOR THE NEW OWNERS

Ordered via phone last night for delivery @6:20pm. Was told delivery would be approximately 30 minutes. Ordered 2 combo meals and added 2 sides (side of chicken wings & side chicken fingers). Asked for extra duck sauce for the chicken fingers. Keep in mind, 2 combo meals. After 1 hour and delivery hasn’t shown up, I called back. Women who answered the phone said she was just going to call me. Ya, Right! She proceeded to tell me our food is fresh, was just cooked and that there were people ahead of my order for delivery. Well, if I ordered an hour ago, how is my order fresh. Well, my delivery finally arrived an hour and a half after placing my order. Not impressed at all. Not certain what kind of oil they used, but it tasted old, as if it doesn’t ever get changed. Additionally my husband’s chicken wings were not typical Chinese chicken wings. He said they tasted like something you buy in the grocery store and they just toss in the fryer to add some crunch to them. His pork fried rice had an orange peel in it. Why? An orange peel, makes no sense to me! Additionally, I asked for extra duck sauce, what did I get? One very small, half full duck sauce. For 2 combo meals and the extra chicken fingers. Only enough for 3 chicken fingers. How do they only give one duck sauce with two meals? Ok, if you don’t want to give me extra, at least give 2, since we ordered 2 combo meals. I guess just being cheap! Lastly, we normally have enough for another meal, each person. We had plenty of leftovers, but the food tasted so bad, both leftover meals went straight to the dumpster. Food was the worst I’ve had in a very long time. Good Luck, but we will NEVER be back.

I have nothing bad to say about the new owners in terms of their service. However, they need to change their name, because this is not Norton Jade. I opened up my container (general tso’s, lo mein, spare ribs) and it looked like the Chinese food that you’d get at a mall food court. It’s not up to the standards of the previous owners. I can not recommend going here.

Foods great but staff not very friendly..not very comfortable. Takes forever to get through on the phone. I’ve been sitting there at the bar and there is one person that does the cooking and answers the phone out front and bartends

I walked in, and I was greeted by 2 different people immediately. The restaurant was clean, and the gentleman who assisted me was super friendly. I had my 2 yr old granddaughter with me, and he was super nice to her as well. He greeted her with a big smile, and without asking, he gave her a wrapped candy, which I politely accepted and said thank you. I placed it in my pocket because she doesn't eat candy. Then, with a big smile, he went over to the bar, grabbed a glass of Sprite with her, and placed a straw in it for her. I was like, wow, nobody has ever greeted me like this, not even back in the day when my kids were small.

Kid-friendliness: Staff is super friendly to kids.

Wheelchair accessibility: I don't know if there is a button to push or bell to ring to have someone help with the main door being opened and assist a person in a wheelchair. I did not see any stairs.

Ordered broccoli and beef. Food i ordered was spoiled. Strong rotted smell coming out of food container when opened, beef was raw completely red and uncooked. Never been more disgusted and concerned for peoples health.

Awesome place, the service is great and the food is great too. If you eat in, it's a nice little eat in location. Not very roomy but still good.

My girlfriend and I have been going here for the past few weeks ever since she raved about how good it was because she got their chicken rice noodles after the gym one day. I’ve gotten several combo plates such as beef and broccoli, orange chicken, lo mein, and more and they’re always freshly made and absolutely delicious. The waitress is always so friendly and welcoming, never got her name but she’s been there every time I’m there! Best fried rice in the Norton / Mansfield / Easton area!

I have not been here in years. But tonight I took the ride from Foxboro to get take out. The food was delicious. The beef and broccoli was amazing. Definitely will be taking the drive when in the mood for Chinese.

The most underrated place in my opinion. I think it should be PACKED everyday. I go all of the time, especially after a gym sesh next door. Their Chicken rice noodles are to die for and I had a combo plate today for a change and wow. Still impressed. the drinks are fabulous and the staff is so friendly and sweet. I always feel welcome, go here for your next date night !
