My service industry, friends and I had a nice afternoon lunch/brunch on Sunday. I have been meaning to try this place for many years as I’ve had friends that have worked here in the past. Our server was wonderful, the food was delicious and I can’t stop thinking about that buffalo chicken dip. The vibes were chill in the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant. It was overall a really fun time.

Big Bigger
I’ve been here twice before. I had beer pretzels and a coke, I then had chicken pad Thai. Food is always good. Problems today: 1/2/26 12 noon. I sat at the bar and the bartender was quite obviously sick with a chest cold or flu. I asked her if she was sick and she said yes. I asked why she was working with food with a cough that bad, she said it’s her medication making her cough that deep. Nice lady, but if an employee who is obviously sick is allowed to work, that’s on management! That person can get 100’s if not thousands of people sick in just one day, there were babies in that place. The bartender told me she doesn’t touch the food after she coughs, but she coughed into both her hands NOT her sleeve or bend in elbow of shirt. After she coughed again into her hands, she started cutting fruit for garnishes and put them into a plastic container then infecting the entire container, she made drinks and handed the drinks the the waitress who now just got her hands infected from the glass and handed those infected glasses to customers including children. Everything she touched she infected and other people touched and so on. ….do not let sick people work the shift, I was a manager and I would NEVER have an employee sick working with food at my establishment, I would pick up that shift myself if I had to. As I was leaving, the hostess was on her phone and never acknowledged my patronage as I was walking out, that tictok post must have been important. I really like the place, but they dropped the ball big time today. I hope those babies do not get sick and hopefully it’s not Covid

Tavern is the operative word in their name It’s cozy, inviting, and warm. Sit in the bar and have a beautiful cocktail with your meal. It’s the perfect place to gather with good friends And the food is delicious! (No photos because we couldn’t wait to dig in!)💕

I’ve been there three or four times and I won’t go anymore. Nice outdoor atmosphere but The food is very mediocre and this last time the salad was horrible. How can you mess up a salad?
