We have generally had good experiences at Joe's in the past, but this wasn't one of them. I ordered an extra rare burger that was delivered to the table medium to medium well. Our waitress was happy to return it, but the second burger wasn't much better (medium to medium rare). What I didn't understand is why no one from the management team ever showed up at our table to assist. My wife's meal was slightly better and our waitress was very responsive, so it was a mixed bag on this occasion.

They had a promotion for Mondays so we went. You get a starter, 2 entrees from a limited menu and a dessert for $50. I ordered the ahi tuna wantons. The server returned saying they had no tuna. I got bang bang shrimp and it was very good. Our server didn't have much to say. My wife got chicken parm, which was good. I got jambalaya, which was not. It was very spicy, but without Cajun spices, just a lot of pepper sauce, I suspect, with a mound of rice on top. So none of the flavor that makes it jambalaya. The shrimp in it was good, the chicken was tough. We took our dessert home.

We ate in the bar side in a booth. We usually do that because the dining room is very bright, a bit cafeteria like. Our waitress who was also the bartender was wonderful. I got the Waldorf salad with chicken which is always very good. My two friends both liked their salads too. One had salmon on hers and had it cooked as suggested by our waitress and it came out perfect. The martinis were made perfect. Really like this spot they never rush you and drinks and food are consistently good. Only drawback is the lighting/ambiance of main dining room way to bright.

I was impressed to see a plant-based option on the Monday-Tuesday $50 dinner for 2, which is an excellent value. I very much enjoyed the Veggie Harvest Bowl. Besides 2 entrees, it included an appetizer as well as a large dessert to share. We had the Cauliflower Bites and The Peanut Butter Thing (ice cream cake). Everything was excellent! Lynn was a welcoming and attentive server. (The other option is 2 entrees and a bottle of wine for $50.)

So disappointed with the quality of food at NYAJ's. Use to love to go to their restaurants. My first date with my now wife was at one of their restaurants, celebrated many anniversaries with them and even had our wedding rehearsal dinner but IDK what has happened the past few years but the quality and drastically changed for the negative.

The food here was great. Particularly the bread and oil at the beginning of the meal, it was to die for.

Pretty outrageous they charge 1.50 for a slice of cheese. Every other restaurant we go to serves a cheeseburger. Won't go back unless wife makes me

Hadn't been in a few years, so tried it last week (on a Tuesday). Everything was great. Service was spot on and all food came out hot and as ordered. Would give it 4 1/2 stars easily.

Tonight, however, there were clearly no F's given anywhere. 2 stars at best. Spouses meal, same as last week, wasn't nearly as good. My meal (meatloaf) came out barely warmed, like it had been plated before my spouses meal even began to be cooked. Asked them to reheat it. No biggie. Got served two burnt pucks. Scraped off as much as I could. Had a few bites and cut my losses. Server comes back - oblivious - and asks if we'd like dessert. I say that I am going to cut my losses and she doesn't react at all. She then asks if we would like two boxes....and again.....I looked at my burnt plate and said "thank you, no."

She hit her marks on every opportunity to upsell. I'll giver her that. But everything was just mailed in. It will be a long time before we try again.

Our server, Kayla R., was exceptionally pleasant, attentive, and courteous. The Veggie Harvest Bowl was excellent! The many vegetables were perfectly prepared. The sauce was tasty. The Peanut Butter Thing that we shared was delicious! We appreciated the birthday discount. The view of Accord Pond from our table near the front of the restaurant was lovely during sunset.

NYAJ is one of my favorite chain restaurants! They have a fabulous cocktail menu as well as food! The bread with oil they serve to start is fantastic. One of my favorite meals is the almond crusted goat cheese salad. The staff are always friendly & service is great!
