Finally tried this spot out and it is exceptional. Kind, helpful and friendly staff paired with delicious food. The beef skewer was phenomenal as well as everything else my friend and I ordered. Cannot wait to come back!
If you are looking for authentic Greek food in a casual setting, Cedar Cafe is a great choice. The food is reasonably priced, portions are generous, and the food is fresh and delicious. The menu is varied with everything from gyros to kebabs. If you're on the south shore, you will find a great place to eat at Cedar Cafe.
I've just been making the rounds in Massachusetts trying to find Greek food that tastes as good as it did in Greece. We got chicken gyros. My wife got her's plain and I got mine with everything that comes with it. It's not authentic Greek food, there's a certain blend of spices that makes the food taste good that they didn't have. It wasn't horrible, but more like mall food court Greek food.
