Rude disgusting place and owner. These businesses tend to bank on the area and the quests. If you are smart avoid this place. The owner clearly doesn’t give a crap about her customers. Coffee burnt old and donuts broken in my to go bag. Horrible
Stopped in for a cone, because I figured this was a popular spot. Staff wasn't very friendly, but it could be due to the Labor Day crowds. Ice cream was good though, and the seating area made for a great people-watching opportunity.
This ended up being the best part of my day at Martha's Vineyard--so much so that I both started and ended my visit here.
The morning was hectic and slow, but the coffee and cinnamon roll were delicious and fresh! Someone in my group got a bagel and they said it was fresh and there was a lot of cream cheese.
Then after a fiasco with some Mad Martha's ice cream, I came here for an iced latte to make myself feel better (since it was close to the ferry). Good choice. It was much quicker and quieter at 6PM than 9AM, and the latte was very good. The employees were exceptional both times, and I give them kudos for handling that morning rush.
Every year, we always stop at this place to get breakfast sandwiches and they are some of the best we've ever had! We also love their Jaws ice cream and it has turned into a tradition for us to stop here when arriving and departing the island.
Personal opinion that they could be a little more selective in their hiring to maintain quality. Maybe like one or two shift leaders. It seemed more like they have a product to sell but no one to keep up the quality. It's a good group vibe though if you want to grab some coffee and sit down and plan your day.
As a business owner, I understand the importance of treating customers with respect. I have never been more disappointed in my life than I was today with how my family was treated at this establishment.
After purchasing coffee and an açaí bowl inside with my wife and 2-year-old daughter, a heavy rainstorm began. Not wanting them to get drenched, I pulled into the side parking lot to pick them up. As I did, the owner—wearing a sour expression—shooed me away as if I were an animal.
I asked if I could help him with something, and he told me he was the property owner and that I could not park there. I explained that I would be less than 30 seconds, just long enough to safely get my daughter into her car seat. Despite the fact that it was downpouring and I was clearly soaking wet, he aggressively demanded that I leave immediately.
He then followed me around the vehicle and continued to escalate the situation. I calmly informed him that I would not leave without my wife and child. He responded by threatening to call the police on me for trespassing. While I loaded the stroller into the car and helped my wife buckle in our daughter, he brought over a friend and they both continued to harass and mock me in front of my family—calling me a “cool guy,” saying I should be embarrassed, and even stating, “Good thing your daughter isn’t old enough to realize what a jerk you are.” He also remarked that he felt bad for my daughter for having a father like me.
This was an incredibly disrespectful and humiliating experience. I’ve been coming here for over 20 years, since I was a child, and had looked forward to continuing that tradition with my own family. I’ve never been treated so poorly anywhere, let alone by someone claiming to be a business owner.
To future customers: be aware that if you pull into the side lot—even momentarily to pick up your family during a rainstorm—you may be confronted, threatened, and publicly shamed by the owner and his friend, as I was, while others are allowed to do the same without issue.
Their behavior was not only uncalled for but completely out of line. These individuals should be ashamed of how they treat people. I cannot in good faith recommend anyone support this business. May God help them—they truly need a change of heart.
Recently visited this ice cream store and loved it. Their orange creamsicle flavor is the BEST! I don't think I have ever tasted one this good. Excellent customer service. Highly recommend
Iced coffee was good. Quick service.
Ice cream was inedible. With so many great ice cream places don’t go here.
Love this place - best value on the island. Friendly staff, good food and coffee.

GREAT service 😎
Opened for the season way before they were ready for customers. It seemed like the very first time they had ever scooped ice cream or operated a card machine. Would not recommend.
Good Mocha. Very warm inside.
