Despite the cheesy name (Is there anything in Oak Bluffs that doesn't reference Jaws?) this was a solid Mexican restaurant. The loaded nachos were insane...typically places load all the stuff on top and you end up with just a bunch of bare chips on the bottom. Here they layer the nachos, so the meal just keeps on giving as you work your way down. My wife and I ordered the large and could not finish it despite our best efforts. The medium would have sufficed.

Received quickly for delivery. Taco salad was very greasy and lacking in seasoning. All of the parts to make it good were there and fresh, simply extremely greasy, likely from the ground beef not getting drained. The shell of the taco salad was good and added the needed salt without being salty, but it was overall bland.

Just stopped in while waiting for the ferry back to Hyannis. Bartender made an excellent margarita and had some guac and chips. Hubby had a beer. Seemed like a local place...lot of the other customers knew the bartender and waitresses...a good sign for me! There was a wide variety of flavored margs, but I'm a traditionalist and stuck with on the rocks, regular marg. I did see a couple sharing a scorpion that looked good and they seemed to be enjoying. Would definitely recommend for a quick bite and good drinks!!

The chips are absolutely horrible - cooked the day before, heated to appear “fresh” but an absolute liability for your mouth.
Such a gem for a quality filling meal. Alex and Greta took such amazing care of me, they are so kind and generous.

Sharky’s Cantina in Oak Bluffs is a must-visit if you’re on Martha’s Vineyard! The food is consistently delicious, thanks to the incredible talents of Tass, the chef. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the service. Anna, our waiter, was exceptional. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure our dining experience was top-notch from start to finish. Her recommendations were spot on, and she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

This small storefront doesn't look like much but appearances can be deceiving. The Tex-Mex food here is as good or better than you'll find in any upscale restaurant or chain location. We always look forward to the ground beef tacos and are never disappointed. Excellent margaritas. If you like Tex-Mex this is a treat. We look forward to returning every year during our week on the island.
