Navigating through countless taco shops over the years, my skepticism often precedes me. Yet, Midnight Taco in Oak Bluffs manages to cut through the noise. This is not just another taco stand; it's a culinary revelation in the art of taco-making.The commitment to locally sourced ingredients is palpable in each bite—this is not mere window dressing but the cornerstone of their offerings. I've had the privilege of trying every single taco on the menu, and each one is a masterclass in flavor and texture.Portion size here is satisfyingly generous, debunking the myth that quality must come in small packages. Even the vegetarian bowl, which my wife thoroughly enjoyed, is a testament to the inclusive culinary genius at work here.In a sea of choices, Midnight Taco stands out as the go-to destination for top-tier tacos. Your visit to Oak Bluffs won't be complete without a stop at this gastronomic gem.

Worst ordering experience I’ve ever had. They were out of everything. Didn’t find this out until I had basically put my order in. The person couldn’t understand my order so I had to write it down. Still got it wrong. I finally walked out with food after about 30 min of trying to order and the bag split. I asked for another bag and then one to put around it to avoid it splitting again. Was told I could t have one because the manager wouldn’t allow it. I have two small children and he was unable to deduce that the decent thing to do would’ve been to give another bag. Very strange. It was his first day, he wasn’t trained and unprepared for this job. Most awful experience I’ve ever had. Even if this food is good I won’t be back bc of the bad taste in my mouth.Update: the food was almost as bad as the service.Reply 9/14They were out of chips, rice, beef, and burritos (per the employee). Your suggestion that I have a cultural bias is highly offensive and untrue. I worked to explain my order multiple times to the employee even going so far as to write it down when he asked. My husband came and tried to help clear things up too. He paid, I did not, but either way neither of us loudly berated anyone. I wasn’t aware of the price until after we left so that’s not true either. It definitely was not worth the $80 though. Good luck w business.

The food was so good we wanted to go back everyday ! Everything we tried from tuna belly tacos, daily specials of fish tacos, carnitas was all equally an amazing explosion and combination of flavors with great quality fresh everything! We can’t wait to go back. We wished there was some better seating outside but hopefully they will make that happen soon! We also realized you can take your food to the giant central field and have a picnic there!

Hands down the best Mexican on the island. Massive portions. Probably best bang for your buck on the island, too.Grab some food and go sit on the docks. No seating, takeout only.
