1883 Lounge is a hidden gem with an outstanding food and service experience. The speak-easy vibe and attentive servers add to the charm. The charcuterie board is a must-try, and the karaoke nights on Sundays are a bonus. The food is exceptional, with notable dishes including the wings, crab cake appetizer, broiled scallops and shrimp plate, and some of the best fish and chips. The lobster Mac and Cheese is delicious, packed with lobster and perfectly melted cheese. The bartenders are friendly and skilled, serving up great drinks like espresso martinis and creating a lively atmosphere. The side Cesar salad with homemade dressing and shaved Parmesan cheese is excellent, as is the crème brulee dessert. Despite the occasional loud noise levels, 1883 Lounge is a fantastic spot for a night out, offering great food, drinks, and fun in the basement of the hotel. The staff remains incredibly attentive even when the place is packed.
