We just happened upon this tavern while we were traveling and looking for a place to eat. There were several cars in the lot and happy people leaving. We are glad we stopped. The restaurant was clean with a hometown feel. The food was great and service friendly. Glad we found it.

there is a clearly labeled vegan black bean burger and the menu also specifies that the sweet potato fries are cooked in soybean oil. the staff is friendly and the owner is kind.

The food was excellent. Portions were plentiful. I had the wings, and they were good-sized and 10 per order. My friend had the clam strips, and I couldn't believe how big the strips were and how big the portion was. The service was good but a bit slow due to only having two servers for the entire place, and it was very busy. I highly recommend making a stop here.

I stopped in on Saturday around noon planning to get chicken strips and a pint...my pre-pandemic go to...very reliable. Not busy, which was a bit surprising... I sat at the bar, and was given a menu, and watched the bartender put in a few Keno tickets over the next 7-8 minutes, 6 feet away, without making eye contact, to ask what I wanted, so I left. In the pre-Covid days, even when packed, service was attentive and prompt...always. This isn't the place I enjoyed stopping at before the pandemic...sadly.

What a gem!! My wife actually finished her burger. She never does….until this place!! I’m from Cape Cod. I got the clam strips and they were excellent!! I got extra tartar sauce because most places give you a tiny bit. Not here. Extra tartar sauce was not needed. This restaurant was clean and, the service was outstanding!! My wife and I reside in North Attleborough, Mass. She’s already wanting to go back next weekend!! Great experience, highly recommend this restaurant!! Also, saw a previous review of them closed on Sundays. They are open on Sundays. We were here on Sunday. Just a suggestion, don’t rely on “google” hours. Always go to the restaurant’s websites to verify hours of operation.

Truck driver hauling oversized load had to shutdown ( police escort ) local police let us park at the American legion after making half the town mad anyways had the barbecue bacon burger with fries very good definitely well spent money 7/10/24

First time here. Waitress ignored us for a long time, finally came by and we asked for a couple of waters. She then proceeded to bring drinks to two tables of people that came in well after us. Once is a mistake, twice is on purpose. Not sure what was going on but we won't be back.
