I asked for a pupu platter with no pork strips so I would not waste the food I would normally throw out so they charged me $44.89 charging me for EVERYTHING INDIVIDUALLY!!! I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO DISAPPOINTED, THIS HAS ALWAYS BEEN MY FAVORITE RESTAURANT UNTIL NOW

If you've never been to the Tea House in Orange, MA, let me tell you—you have not truly lived. This place isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a portal to flavor enlightenment.

First things first: the Scorpion Bowl. I don’t know what kind of ancient magic they use to mix this thing, but it’s the closest I’ve ever come to breathing fire like a dragon and enjoying every second of it. One sip, and suddenly, I’m fluent in Mandarin and moonwalking across the dining room.

The rice? Perfect. Every. Single. Time. I don’t know if they have a dedicated Rice Whisperer in the kitchen or if the grains just respect them more than anyone else, but it’s always fluffy, never clumpy, and just the right amount of sticky.

Now, let’s talk about the dumplings with ginger sauce. I’m pretty sure if I were ever stranded on a deserted island and could only bring one food, it would be these. The dumplings are so perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, it’s like they trained at a Shaolin monastery. And the ginger sauce? Absolute sorcery. I considered drinking it straight but decided to maintain some dignity (barely).

As for the teriyaki chicken and beef, I can confidently say this is the best in the world. I don’t care where you’ve been—Japan, Korea, some mystical hidden village known only to food gods—nothing touches what Tea House is serving up. The glaze is so perfect, I wouldn’t be surprised if they made a deal with a flavor deity.

In conclusion, if you haven't been to Tea House, what are you even doing with your life? Get there immediately, order everything, and prepare for your taste buds to write you a heartfelt thank-you letter.

5 out of 5 stars, 100 out of 10, would trade my left shoe for another dumpling.

I discovered this place looking for a good halfway place to meet my brother for lunch.

It’s a very nice and quiet place. It’s very clean and roomy too. The waitress we had is named Yo-yo. She’s such a pleasant person. She’s very helpful and always tries to please.

Today I had an episode with my esophagus. I get these twice a year, but today was one of them. Yo-yo tried to help me but needed to use her phone for translation. She’s such a sweetheart!

She helped me by getting some warm water for me to drink. After a short while I felt relief. She made sure I was ok . My brother left to pickup done Tums nearby, he returned and I found the Tums really help a lot.

Yo-yo packed my leftovers (their serving size even for lunch is huge!). This was the second visit for us, we plan to return! Can’t ask for anything better! Yo-yo came outside to say goodbye.

I recommend Tea House if you want the best Chinese, Thai or Szechuan food! The service can’t be beat.

Crab rangoons were very good, but not much filling. The lo mein, beef teriyaki and chicken fingers and spare ribs were just ok. The fried rice was not very tasty. The chicken wings were large with a very hard crunchy outside. The pork strips were gross.

Food was bland, rice has no taste, Crab Rangoon are not good, small and not enough of stuffing. Boneless Pork strip were not tasty, Chicken Fingers were the best out of the whole meal. I will NEVER go back to this place, sorry!
