On walking in, it did not smell fishy or like dirty fry oil! Just good food! It's a counter service spot with a good menu. The lobster roll was fantastic and full of sweet lobster. Fried clam straps were bland but we made them better with all the condiments. The food overall was fresh and good. I would recommend!Dietary restrictions: Extensive gluten free menu!

Cooke’s Seafood located at 1 S Orleans Rd, Orleans, MA 02653 is a phenomenal seafood place to eat. Perfectly battered, fried seafood, generous portions, and reasonable prices. Very clean establishment. Owner was very nice and appreciative. Shrimp was cooked fresh. Highly recommend.
This place kind of felt like a fast food restaurant but with better food. You order at the counter when walking in, and then they bring it to your table. Service is fast. Food was fine, had scallops that were broiled in Old Bay seasoning, and had a grilled swordfish steak. They do have Cape Cod beer. Prices were reasonable.

Sadly the lobster is pretty dry, and the onion rings, have to wonder if it was sitting under a warmer pre-made. Both those were at least marginally edible, but good god the tofu tacos were complete uninspired rubbish. Do yourself a favor and keep on truckin if you have anyone that wants vegetarian food in your group.Vegetarian options: Horrendous, avoid

My husband had a scallop roll & I had the lobster roll. You order at the counter when you arrive. Clean restaurant. Sanitizer available & appears relatively new building. Staff pleasant. Food was what I expected, in the sense of lobster tastes like lobster, fried scallops tastes like lobster..but small portions & nothing special added for the price you paid..approx $23 or so each. 3.5 stars

The place was pretty standard but I got a bad case of food poisoning from eating their clams. I can say with certainty that it came from their food and not from something else I had. When I emailed them with my concerns, they didn't respond, which does not speak for them or their hygienic standards.

Sincerely the best service I experienced my whole vacation and excellent food to match. The chowder is on the sweeter side and the hot lobster roll was fresh and delicious. I felt appreciated there.
