A must visit when on the Cape! My spouse and I have been coming here over the past 10 years, and we always make a point of visiting Hot Chocolate Sparrow for the coconut mocha sparrow in particular. It's such a delicious drink! And I've never tasted another mocha anywhere else quite like it. The desserts are very decadent in flavour, and the cakes and chocolate in particular will send you into a heavenly sugar rush.This time, we tried the berryblast muffin for a change. However, we weren't impressed as with our usual selections. It was a bit dry and bland, so I definitely recommend sticking to the many other assortments of treats on display here. The options, after all, are endless so much that it'll be hard to choose what to order. This is perhaps the best reason to justify putting on those calories and spending the oh so worth it dough to keep coming back. ;)
Not great food or drinks anymore. Changes staff so often, no one seems to care about what they do. Overpriced and lousy service.

Great little chocolate shop and cafe! My family loves chocolate covered cherries, seems like most chocolate shops don’t carry them these days. The Chocolate Sparrow has them year-round! Highly recommend a stop here!!!

This is not the place to go if you are on a diet. However if you are taking a "day off" at least stop in for the hot chocolate. There is some great pastry and chocolate candy - and it is a cool place. But....HOT CHOCOLATE!!

If you need a pick me up, try the caramel mocha turtle - it's sweet treat that combines homemade fudge sauce with espresso.Ice cream selection is fantastic, staff are super friendly and helpful.
I got the hot chocolate. It tasted really good! We also went to the chocolate section and we bought some peppermint bark, fudge and little chocolate bits with sprinkles! The service was really good! 10/10
