Regular ice cream shop ambience with a little outdoor seating, no indoor seating which could be nice for a rainy day. Love the accessibility- not far if traveling on route 6 it’s a quick, easy stop off the highway, and a short drive or longer walk from the center of town. However you get there, go.

If you are in Orleans Massachusetts, then this is a must-visit ice cream shop. Even the Kiddy cones and the small cones are a lot more than you get in most places. And of course, it is so delicious.

Nobody packs a pint like Ice Cream Cafe!!! Look at that!!! All 3 other ice cream shops we tried fell short with light pints and underfilled frappes. Best on the Cape, maybe all of MA.

Dietary restrictions: Love this place!! Amazing ice cream and great vegan/ dairy free options. My girlfriend has a dairy allergy and this is the first place we have found that has a comparable vegan soft serve option for her. We have made a tradition out of driving from Boston and biking 16 mi on the Cape Cod Rail Trail each way just to get ice cream here. 100% worth it each time

They had some good dairy-free ice cream flavors for the hot-fudge sundae I ordered, and also surprised me by asking if I wanted the hot fudge and whipped cream non-dairy as well! I was so happy to be able to further reduce my dairy intake!

This was the first place I found that has had vegan soft serve and many dairy free menu items…the dairy free menu offerings were comparable to the dairy containing menu offerings. I did try the vegan hard serve chocolate ice cream and that was great. They also do have gluten free cones for gluten free individuals. The staff was very knowledgeable about ingredients and very friendly. Service was very quick even though they were very busy. Definitely plan to return here when on the cape again! My only complaint is that the vegan soft serve contains soy (an allergy for myself) but that did not take away from my experience here.
