The service was slow not the wait staff fault, I guess the kitchen was backed up. The food was swimming is the sauce everything on my plate had sauce on it I couldn't eat the veg and potato too much salty sauce, I couldn't tell that I was eating veal it was so covered. Not the best. My daughter's plate was the same steak was great cooked perfect but everything on her plate was also swimming in sauce. Everyone was nice and attentive as far as the service went.

Always enjoyed dining at Belle Vita however this time it appeared to us that there may be a new chef? Food was not up to the standard from a year ago. The brussel sprout salad was delightful and enjoyed by all of us. Two of us ordered one of the specials, chicken Milanese. The chicken was a cutlet so it was all processed meat and mealy, not much of a taste. The tomatoes were soggy and the sauce had a balsamic taste to it...which was not tasty. We both only ate a few bites and left the rest. The other guest ordered chicken Alfredo and commented that the sauce didn't have much of a taste. Not sure we will be back? Which is disappointing because we always enjoyed our visits.

Food was fantastic as always. But god for bid you wanna split a check up. Apparently their toast system doesn't split checks and if it's just you and somebody else you're screwed. Took 45 minutes in between my appetizers and entrée. Again food was very good just a general overall service was lacking. It seem like the managing staff didn't know their owns systems. Figure it out.
Delicious. Probably the best pork tenderloin I've ever eaten. Only negative comment was the sauce on the lamb meal, which was very tasty, shouldn't have covered all parts of the meal.

loved the place and so did the family we have had dinner about 30 times unfortunately the salt content of the sauces and food exceeded my tolerance. the first taste of food revealed salt as an overpowering taste, it masked the flavor of whatever spies were present i couldnt taste past the salt and overpowering garlic also. this applies to the red white and green sauces just couldnt eat more than a few bites. tums were my next choice

Great table next to candle fireplace. Friendly, attentive server that genuinely cared that we were enjoying our meals...a veggie lasagna and a Veal Saltimbocca that were both delicious.
The regular menu items are great! The specials are a little weak!

Visiting the Cape for the weekend and we found this amazing restaurant. The cocktails were delicious and all of our courses were outstanding. My favorite was the harvest burrata salad, great blend of flavors. I also love that they have the spumoni bomba. My boyfriend had never had it so that was a real treat. Waitress was super nice. Loved this visit and will come back next time we are in town for sure!

We looked forward to eating out this week and weren't disappointed. Our server was great, offered me a taste of the wine I was interested in. Our salad and artichoke hearts came and we shared the salad, took home most of the artichokes as planned. Very good! I'm not a big eggplant fan, but had a yen for it, and enjoyed it. My other half had the baked cod with risotto, which he thoroughly loved. We both took home enough for lunch today. I had the gelato for dessert (excellent biscotti came with it) and he had the cheesecake. I was a bit confused by some of the specials offerings - Mandarin inspired salad and Buffalo flavored potato skins - not exactly Italian, but I'm sure they wanted to appeal to guests who may want something different. I would personally like to see more Italian specials. We will continue to return there, we love the atmosphere and they do have some good value wines by the glass.
