Land NO! The two of us went there to celebrate a special day, but the middle-aged waitress' rudeness was definitely a joy kill. There were several tables, yet she wanted to put us in a cramped table directly behind the hostess stand. No thanks, we don't care to look at someone's behind while having dinner... We then had to wait a while before she showed up again to take our order, yet she was very impatient & lackluster at best. We moved non-essential things, like the plastic drink advertisement, around on our table to give us more room for our plates. She had the nerve to rudely place them right in front of our plates while we were eating & didn't say a word. This isn't a museum, hun! We're allowed to touch & arrange items on our table while dining there. Please do better in your hiring selection. The only positive was the whole belly clams were very good....

Looking for a local pub with pub fare? This is it. Calamari, chicken wings, potato skins are great. Service was on point and friendly. Oh and get the Brownie Sundae.

We have eaten here before on several occasions but tonight was very disappointing. The chowdah was delicious as usual. The stuffed clam was very bready and no sign of clams whatsoever. My fried clam dish was very good. My husband ordered the chicken enchilada special... Decided to try something different. It was horrible! The wrap was so gummy it looked plastic. It was inedible. The waitress suggested the fish and chips instead. Said it was very popular. The dish came out in record time, compared to the wait for the first dishes. It was deep fried but it was very under cooked. Wasn't able to eat it and decided to ask for the check. The waitress was very apologetic. Maybe it was an off night as they had a private party taking place in the back room. We will stick to what we know if we ever go back. Chowdah and the spinach salad is always a safe choice.

Burnt out waitress ruined our experience sadly. One of four hated her meal. Reuben was like shoe leather.
As desribed, an all-American good food restaurant. Clam chowder was excellent and both the crab cake and the cod with fries and slaw were superb.
Washed down with Cape Cod Brewery red ale and followed by a home-made blueberry pie with ice-cream.

Extremely disappointed by our former old favorite. Completely unable to accommodate a party of 10 (and we were willing and prepared to wait as long as needed); instead of putting two empty rectangular tables together, we waited until two differently sized round tables 4 feet away from the rectangular tables could be sort of cobbled together for very awkward seating. We asked about the other tables and were refused. The waitress was downright rude, the only hot vegetarian entree was not available, one order was completely forgotten, and so on. It was a family birthday, so we tried not to fuss and wreck our own experience, but I will certainly not plan on returning.
