We have been coming here for over 40 years. My parents always loved it. It hasn't changed much, which is a good thing. My wife's steak tips were awesome, but my fish and chips were super bland. No flavor in the fish. Our waitress was efficient but seems distracted and came off as impersonal. Bogdan, the clean up staff was great and pleasant. This is an historical place in Orleans and indies is full of signs, very interesting and characteristic. Service is good. Food is OK…. I personally don’t like fried food so this remove 80% of the menu. The only other option is broil. The taste was ok, not much flavor and the presentation is basic. I have been here 10 years ago and my memory of the food was much better. Good for drinking beers and talk with friends but not recommended for a formal dinner or new food experience.
Great clam chowder and whole belly clams. We drove all the way down from Falmouth because my son and grand daughter said that they had the best anywhere tuna melt. It was pretty good!!
