The atmosphere was nice. I ordered the RHG Burger medium, and it was served raw. I expected better based on the description and reviews, and hope to have a better experience next time.

I got the scallops and shrimp. Yummy but small portion. Atmosphere is fun. Great waitstaff.

Love the burgers. Go there frequently, diverse menu. Suggest getting there early or make a reservation. It's busy both in and off season.

If my husband were rating this, he'd give it 4 stars, but there were a few things that made me feel the experience was just OK. We had never been to Rock Harbor Grill before but live in a town nearby and they've been advertising about lowering their prices recently so decided to give it a try. It was a very cold evening and the hostess started to sit us at a table right by the door, but at our request, quickly sat us at a small table at the other end of the restaurant which was fine. The restaurant was a little dark and we noticed someone at another table taking out her cell phone to use the flashlight to read the menu, but we managed. Our server was prompt, took our drink order and they were fine. My husband ordered their prime roast beef special and I decided to try the wild mushroom pizza because I had read so many recommendations about their pizzas. We were in no hurry and it wasn't a problem when the server came out and said they were having trouble with the wood-fired oven and the pizza would be a little late coming out. At that point, my husband had finished his drink, and most servers would ask if he wanted another. He would have given his line, "It sounds like a good idea, but no." But she didn't ask. She delivered the meals. And then never came back to ask how everything was. (The restaurant was about half full.) My husband loved the prime rib. The mushrooms on my pizza were fresh and wild, but way over-salted. Otherwise, the wood fired pizza was good and what I expected. The manager came around a couple of times to refill water glasses--nice touch. The server took our credit card, not much interaction, and we left. Are we going to go back? Yes--$28 for a good prime rib dinner got my husband's attention and I know there will be other menu choices for me. But there were the glitches in service, ambience and food that made me have to give it 3 stars.

We went on a snowy Friday and were able to be seated immediately. Food is always great but the winter salad was beyond great. Pizza and portabella sandwich were both satisfying. Host staff were very kind and the owner was making sure everyone was happy.

Service was fast and friendly - they were so adoring of our 9 month old and happily brought out the pretzel stick basket to help we her occupied. Would recommend adding Italian sausage to the mushroom pizza - it was a delight!

First time Eating at Rock Harbor Grill I’m very picky about cooking and service because I have being working in the food industry for about 25 years and all I can say about Rock Harbor Grill is…Very tasty food, good service and atmosphere.

Love their pizzas- wild mushroom with carmelized onions and their starkrimson pear. But this time decided to try their burger with truffle sweet potato fries. Incredibly delicious. Service was also excellent.

A nice surprise tucked away off the Main Street in Orleans. The food is so flavorful, and an interesting variety on the menu. They also add zest to old favorites.
