Yardarm is a good choice for a cocktail or a casual bite to eat. We had the baked scallops and a lobster roll. Both were pretty good, and the portions were generous for the pricing. Service was good. The interior is cosy, and I can imagine that it gets pretty busy (and loud) during the high season. Overall this a solid place. It’s not a destination restaurant, but if you are in the area it will not let you down.

We stopped for drinks and appetizers and all were fabulous. Calamari and wings were really good.

We hosted a client dinner at The Yardarm, and it was absolutely fantastic! This place deserves every bit of its 5-star rating. The staff was incredible—when we had extra people show up unexpectedly, they quickly arranged a larger table without any hassle. The waiters were awesome, providing tremendous service that made our group feel well taken care of.
The food was outstanding. We had a big group and ordered a wide variety of dishes, and everyone agreed that everything was delicious. The restaurant itself is a gem—classic Cape Cod charm on the outside, with a beautifully renovated interior featuring brand-new TVs and warm, comforting decor. It’s an awesome spot that we’ll definitely return to. Highly recommend!

My husband and I went to go here for dinner with our baby, were told it would be a 30 min wait. An hour in to our wait we got bumped down by a group that had a reservation, except the manager said they don’t take reservations. We were then up next again, when a two top came in and the host immediately sat them at a two top that just opened up and should have been ours. We weren’t even offered the table. The hose told us that we wouldn’t have wanted to sit there with a baby… maybe ask us first or at least offer us the table before giving it away to someone who just walked in the door. The manager hid in the back and wouldn’t come speak to us. So after an hour of waiting and getting pushed to the side, we left and went elsewhere. Would not recommend. Extremely poor customer service. Very disappointing because we were really looking forward to eating here.

Bar excellent. Reasonably priced local family restaurant, opened all year, recently renovated. Saw a lobster roll, which I didn't order but it looked pretty substantial. We got a cheeseburger club and it was excellent. Meat was cooked just right. Juicy and tasty. Beer was ice cold. Bar tender friendly. Small place, local family American and seafood menu. Portions good. Kitchen and bathrooms clean.

The fried chicken arrived colder than an Arctic expedition, and we were left high and dry without even a sniff of a drink refill. It seemed like the service kicked into high gear for the regulars, as if they were the secret VIPs of this dining establishment. Clearly, we were just the mere mortals, hoping for a warm bite and a sip of something refreshing!

Diet Coke was enjoyable—sadly, it was the best part of the entire meal. Everything else was fried to a crisp, including the crab cakes that consisted more “grease” than crab. Food was genuinely awful. Won’t return. Never.

Had lunch today, what a disappointment we used to love coming here. Is it under new management? We had the older waitress with the limp and tattoos! Immediately upset here we had a question about the bread and had to go ask the kitchen! We sat there and watched other people get set long after us. And they were served well before us. And there is nothing worse, they're not receiving an apology, and even worse. He never asked us how our lunch was. But managed to ask everyone else around us.! Never put a pen in the check book!
Me and my wife both ordered ruben sandwiches, if we wanted grilled cheese sandwiches, we should have ordered that. Because basically yeah, it's all right, that's what we got, a bag of chips, a grilled cheese sandwich with a tiny bit of meat, my mother got overcooked crab cakes! Two things to the owner get rid of the old tired weathered servers and look at the portions! Like I said, we used to come here all the time. Never again!

Update, Yardarm no longer special, closer to a chain restaurant. Food is ok, but not the same menu or specials. Atmosphere is totally different. Prices are still pretty good.
