My wife and I had dinner last Friday. This was the first time since renovating. The first difference was no substituting fries for rings. The next was the food the chicken piccata was overcooked and like mush and my wife’s fried chicken dinner was also overcooked. The chicken itself was ok but the coating was over cooked. This is the only time in 35+ years that we were disappointed. I am hoping that it was just an off night. We will try again soon and hopefully it will be a good report. I should have said something to the waitress. By the way she was fine.

Gave it another try after the new owners and renovation. Menu looked enticing so my wife and I went. The setting was much improved and the service was very good and hospitable. The appetizers and entree's UGH!!!! Our decision: NEVER AGAIN!

Great food-calamari w banana peppers to start. Delicious. Cheeseburger club and Cape Cod Reuben for dinner. Both excellent. Service was great. Newly renovated. Only minus-freeze no cold every time the door opens. Go when it's warmer!!

I got takeout....I picked the Atlantic Scallops with fries and a vegetable...The takeout container didn't have compartments so everything was just drenched with vegetable juice ...It was horrendous!! The scallops had no sea taste whatsoever....Biggest disappointment from a restaurant I've had in years.....Very dissatisfied!

Thanksgiving weekend when everyone (everyone!) wants to go out to eat after the big day...We were NOT expecting great service and great food in a quaint neighborhood restaurant.- The servers were friendly, efficient and kind.- No upcharge for the substitution of fried onion strings instead of fries!- My 84 year old Mom ate the ENTIRE hamburger. Roll was fresh and the burger was cooked to perfection. (She usually only eats half of any sandwich.)- Our fish sandwiches were wonderful - flaky and cooked just right. Tartar sauce was homemade and had the perfect blend.- Brewed iced tea! Not the "tea" from the soda gun at the bar...We can't wait to go back and try more of the menu items.Only wish we could have been there for prime rib days (Mondays & Thursdays)...We don't know the staff's names but they were all great. And we had to stop into the kitchen and tell the 2 hardworking cooks/chefs how great our lunch was...Happy travels to Orleans, Cape Cod, MA everyone!

I am going to continue to call out greed every time I see it, which is basically every single restaurant at this point, but this clown wants you to pay $10 for a grilled cheese and $12 for a BLT. If you're eating here just know that you're a fool for being so ridiculously taken advantage of. Two pieces of bread and a little cheese for $10, that's hysterical! Probably costs him 15 cents, maybe 25 cents after the chef has to pop it on the griddle and flip it one time. Oh, it comes with five potato chips and a pickle, now we're looking at 35 cents. What a joke! This isn't any different than anywhere else really, I see grilled cheese sandwiches in the $7 range, which is still laughable. I saw soft pretzel appetizers for $16 somewhere. That should be what a Filet costs, but instead you get a small amount of dough for $16. The people in this industry have taken greed to another level. They are disgusting individuals! Greed has run rampant in our society and it's extremely ugly! Low quality food for astronomical prices, I don't understand why anyone eats out anymore. It doesn't even matter if you can afford to, you're being taken for a fool, that should bother you!

Been coming here for 20+ years, but this year was the first time I was genuinely disappointed. I think there is new ownership, and they seem to have lost their way. While the Clam Chowder is still amazing and the best on the Cape IMO, the diversity of the menu has severely dropped in options and has become more like any other generic fried seafood place on the Cape. The specials each night used to be in the 10+ options, but tonight I think there were 3 or 4. Ordered the steak tips and they were fatty and waaaaaay too salty. The coleslaw was basically just shredded greens without mayo or seasonings. Just a giant disappointment. What used to be an "annual must do" has turned into a "meh, if there are no other options, then maybe".

A sneak attack 3% credit card charge was added to our bill. When the manager was asked about it, he rudely commented that they do not have to make the customer aware of any additional charges… this was not written anywhere in the restaurant or on the menu!!! The food was delicious but the service was

The Yardarm has some very delicious food available, and offers a nice atmosphere to dine in. Our server was friendly and helpful, but due to the business on a Friday evening there were some gaps in check ins. All in all, I would recommend the Yardarm to anyone desiring delicious food and drinks.
