We recently had the opportunity to have dinner at Clamber Hill…& it was an amazing experience!!! The 3 of us were sat in the Green room… a beautiful private area. The meals we ordered were made to perfection! The filet was so delicious & tender, the duck was cooked perfectly, and the steak au poivre was excellent! Service was great , cocktails were spot on delicious!
This was an experience you seldom find in this crazy busy world… it was so special!
We can’t wait to visit again when we come up from Florida.
Terrible experience. We had to cancel our stay unfortunately within 30 days of arrival. Their policy is that you must cancel at least 30 days in advance, however, we called and they agreed to charge us only $50 per night. Despite that agreement, they have refused to refund the balance. We would have stayed here at a later time, but not anymore. Just beware before you book. It may be a lovely place but their business practices are suspect.
Nice quiet place to enjoy great food and drinks
Outstanding food, atmosphere great....outstanding chef
We really enjoyed our stay this past weekend for my husband's birthday. The atmosphere was relaxing, the room was clean and comfortable, and our dinner (and breakfast the next morning) was so outstanding that I wish I could give more than 5 stars. We live less than 10 miles away but will visit again soon when we need a quaint and relaxing little getaway.
Spent a nice weekend at Clamber Hill. Located in the woods - missed the road entrance the first time. Beautiful sunrise between the trees. Room had a fireplace but I did not use it. Dinner was absolutely delicious. Breakfast was ok, nothing spectacular. A little pricey, but a nice experince overall. I would return just for the dinner.
Dined with my husband for early anniversary celebration. Disappointed with entrée and when told to Deni, no response.
Nothing done to validate concerns. Felt so uncomfortable.
Wonderful experience, Deni was a great hostess! I didn’t get a chance to have the dinner but would recommend to reserve ahead of time to try it because it looked good. Location was very close to a wedding venue. Romantic little spot.

We ordered the hot olive medley, which was really good. My friends also enjoyed the stuffed mushrooms. The filet mignon came with a lot of yummy vegetables. The cheesecake was memorable because it was so good. Our server was super sweet and very attentive. We even had a private room to dine in. Definitely want to go back!

Beautiful place (and country) to stay! The house is filled with character, the food is excellent and Mark and Deni are great hosts. My wife and I stayed in the Charleston Room, we were greeted with a nice fire and cognac! Highly recommend :)

What a pleasant surprise! Loved the drive in to the Inn. Furry friendly Murray greeted us inside, verry friendly and sweet as was Host Demi. Is a step back in time and we loved the peaceful serenity! Dinner was amazing, fresh as could be and Cheg Mark clearly takes pride in his presentation! From the Shrimp Cocktail, crispy salads, French Onion Soup, Chicken and Cherry Mousse Ice cream… all was excellent quality! The Inn is very clean as well as the bedding. We are particularly fussy about clean bedding and this passed with flying colors! It must be beautiful in the Fall when all the greenery is filled in but the snow covered grounds are lovely! Thank you Deni snd Mark , we enjoyed meeting you both?

It was a snowy Friday evening, myself and two friends. Needed a place for dinner. Driving there in the snow and the snow covered trees was beautiful. We looked up unique fine dining for our area. The Clamber Hill Inn in Petersham, Mass. came up. We called, got a reservation and it was awesome. We wanted an experience of Fine Dining, we weren't disappointed. Food top notch. Atmosphere one in a million of a beautiful old antique ish Inn. Owner Deni greeted us, was very friendly. We had an adventure that was spur of the moment. We would definitely go again, and will recommend to others. I would love to stay there as well. Thank you for a great dining experience.
Beyond five stars!! Romantic dining, quiet B&B, spirit tastings, and omg the cheesecake ?
When we first arrived, it was like taking a step back in time. A beautiful building set back into the woods of Petersham. We got there around 4 on Friday and no other guests had arrived yet. I was greeted by Mark who was very welcoming. He showed us to our room and to get settled for the night. The room was gorgeous, it felt like we were back in the 1800's of Europe. They left a complimentary decanter of Cognac out and plenty of board games to keep us entertained. We woke up the next morning to a delicious breakfast. Fresh muffins and fruit, followed by your choice of eggs w/ sides, or their specials of the day. Saturday they served up Apple Pancakes, and Sunday was a cinnamon French Toast. Deni was an absolute delight. She was personable and gave us many good recommendations for activities to do in the area. We followed up breakfast with beautiful fall activities. Once we got back we had reservations for their dinner. The steak and haddock were delicious and the sides were all fresh and full of flavor. They had a great selection of wine, and other beverages. The desserts were just as good. If you are looking for a place to disconnect from the world and enjoy a relaxing get away this is the place for you. My only complaint was I didn't get enough greetings from the fluffy Murray.
