Went there last night for dinner, 3 adults and 2 kids, when I received bill the 20% tip was included plus an overhead fee, never heard of that. Always thought party had to be 6 person or more for tips to be included in the bill. Food took over 30 mins to come out, kids were impatient. Food was good but not that hot as expected for the wait. Wouldn’t recommend going too late for dinner there.

The food was fantastic! One of the best Mexican food around the area. I am only giving this place a 2-star only because the service that me and my husband received was discriminating. My husband and I were treated with so much disrespect in this restaurant that I do not recommend any other race to come to this restaurant unless you want to experience complete ethnic injustice. The waitress will absolutely make sure that you feel uncomfortable because of your ethnic background and will give the food you ordered to someone else, and when you speak for yourself for waiting 50 minutes for your food (that was given to another caucasian couple, making your order before them), your server will tell you that it has not been 50 minutes and that it only takes longer because they are still making the food. The server will look you dead in the eyes and tell you it's your fault for being the ethnic background that you are and will make you wait 10X longer because you are not white. Thank you for the horrible experience, I pray that this experience wont be repeated to other ethnic group.

I’ve always liked Rancho Chico. We went last weekend for dinner. I was surprised to see the cc fee. They have a cash price & cc price for our meal. I was told this is illegal in Mass. I wish I had known.
Massachusetts law, General Law Part I, Title XX, Chapter 140D, Section 28A, prohibits sellers from charging cardholders a surcharge for using a credit card instead of cash, check, or other payment methods. However, some businesses in Massachusetts still charge credit card fees due to a loophole that allows them to do so if they meet certain conditions. These conditions include: Not profiting from the fee Using an outside company to process the transactions Offering an option to avoid the fee by paying with cash

You charge an “overhead fee” on the bill?Give me a break! You got your few bucks from me for that this time but you have lost all future business from me and I will never come back to your restaurant again. Shady and short sighted business practice.
First, $18 for a plate of nachos with just cheese? Second, food is okay. Third, this is one of those places that adds a “fee” because the owners are too cheap to pay their employees. Fourth, we have been there a few times and because of that extra charge, will never go again. Fifth, owners lost a customer who pays over $100 for a measly $4. Sixth, bad business sense.

We were on our way to a lecture and wanted to stop some place near by for some food. We weren't expecting much, not being from the area. This place was awesome! The inside decore was really fun and festive. It's much bigger on the inside than you'd expect. Service was great. Food was amazing. Hot and fresh and authentic. They even had a great vegetarian selection. I can't wait to bring my husband here. A bit out of ourbway, but worth it. I highly recommend.
