The Purple Rooster Cafe

Probably the best vegan breakfast I've ever ate. So many wonderful options for breakfast and lunch, all lovingly custom crafted by their expert and wonderfully knowledgeable chef. There is something to love for everyone. So good I went back the next day. It was ever better the second time around. Do yourself a huge favor and check it out!!

The owner Diana stopped by our table to check on our fully vegan breakfast. We chatted about her own personal struggles with vegan and gluten free foods, which made it feel all the more special to be eating at her place. She’s really dedicated to offering as much as possible for those of us with dietary restrictions (by choice or not). You can tell that she really cares.

Ask for the vegan menu, it’s huge! The staff were amazing and told us about all the options both on the menu and in the to-go fridge/freezer. There are vegan specials, too! The s’mores French toast and the potato pancakes are perfect. The place feels so welcoming. The owner (?) came out and talked to us for a bit about off-menu vegan options and her plans for future vegan items… which is wild considering how big the menu already is. love the options! almost everything can be made gluten free! separate vegan menu (physical menu) so no confusion as to what to order. bakery items also! breakfast all day! will be back!

Great menu! Vegan/GF options are the best I have found yet for a breakfast place. They even have a designated grill for GF. Vegan/GF bacon was great. A must visit!

We need more restaurants who cater to vegan, vegetarian, celiac, and meat eaters alike. The Purple Rooster Cafe is unique, but in my dream world, it would be the standard. The food was excellent, and so was the vibe! Check it out and enjoy all the little touches.

The Marky Mark was amazingly delicious! As a vegan, I was very impressed with the flavors of this particular dish. The vegan bacon was so good we purchased some to take home! Our server Martin was great and we met his mother Diana, the chef, and applauded her vegan cooking concepts. Definitely our new go to spot for breakfast! Can't wait to try their lunch menu in the future!

Excellent and diverse “regular”, vegan and GF options. Quirky but cosy casual atmosphere. They care about the product they produce and the people they serve. Always a variety of daily specials and baked goods. Great home-made options, not your typical boring veggie burger only option! My bf and I were able to order the exact same thing- iced mocha coffee and chicken parm grilled cheese, his regular and mine vegan- with no compromise!! Delicious and filling. Respectful of allergies, obviously.Petite GF +/- vegan pantry area too.

Stopped by for a few late afternoon snacks with the family while our shopping. I haven't been here since they moved from their old location but the food was as good as ever. The Purple Rooster is a dream come true for anyone with food allergies.
