We did a short 2.5 mile walk up to echo lake and the windmills and then Mountainside for lunch.

Soup and cookies were both very good!!

This is a hidden gem of a place. I am happy to have found it though. The staff here were very friendly and professional. The food is good. There is plenty of parking throughout the property. The view nice outside. I am looking forward to going back again soon!

Very cute place but prices don’t reflect the actual quality of the food. This sandwich shouldn’t be anywhere near $12 for the size of it, nor overall quality & taste of the food used.

Super cafe by the mountain. I thought $25 for a juice, sandwich and muffin was a lot. I like the view and being able to sit outside.

Not sure what took us so long to come to the Mountainside, but we absolutely loved it. The breakfast sandwiches, coffee and WARM cranberry orange scone were all superb! The multigrain bread and everything focaccia are homemade as well! A true local gem! We will be back!

Very pretty place, wonderful welcoming staff but the pastries were all way too sweet for my taste, including the blueberry mini Bundt cakes. Bars were large and could be quartered and still be satisfying - ended giving everything away to friends, who all seemed to enjoy it. Sugar coma for me!

Stopped by after a long day hiking Wachusett - for a snack and cold beer! Double Down brewery has a location here and their pumpkin spice beer is the perfect post hike treat! We missed the cut off for lunch at the cafe but were able to buy some pastries to hold us over- Apple Cider Donut Muffins? Yes please! Definitely stop by this spot if you’re in the area.

We used mountainside to cater dessert for our backyard wedding, and wow was it a hit! They dropped everything off and helped us get it situated. The cake was just what I asked for and as you can see it went quick! The trays and trays of blueberry crumble with bowls of whipped cream were soo delicious.

Katherine is so great to work with and helped me figure out what I needed to feed my party.

So disappointed I drove 30 minutes there on a Saturday morning and the indoor seating area was closed for private events.

Staff was friendly, but very expensive for what it is. $18 for a small iced coffee and cold Turkey and cheese sandwich. Price/quality of both were enough to keep us from going back
