We did a short 2.5 mile walk up to echo lake and the windmills and then Mountainside for lunch.
Soup and cookies were both very good!!

This is a hidden gem of a place. I am happy to have found it though. The staff here were very friendly and professional. The food is good. There is plenty of parking throughout the property. The view nice outside. I am looking forward to going back again soon!

Very cute place but prices don’t reflect the actual quality of the food. This sandwich shouldn’t be anywhere near $12 for the size of it, nor overall quality & taste of the food used.

Super cafe by the mountain. I thought $25 for a juice, sandwich and muffin was a lot. I like the view and being able to sit outside.

Not sure what took us so long to come to the Mountainside, but we absolutely loved it. The breakfast sandwiches, coffee and WARM cranberry orange scone were all superb! The multigrain bread and everything focaccia are homemade as well! A true local gem! We will be back!

Excellent food!!! Wonderful staff that treats you very well.
Very pretty place, wonderful welcoming staff but the pastries were all way too sweet for my taste, including the blueberry mini Bundt cakes. Bars were large and could be quartered and still be satisfying - ended giving everything away to friends, who all seemed to enjoy it. Sugar coma for me!
Stopped by after a long day hiking Wachusett - for a snack and cold beer! Double Down brewery has a location here and their pumpkin spice beer is the perfect post hike treat! We missed the cut off for lunch at the cafe but were able to buy some pastries to hold us over- Apple Cider Donut Muffins? Yes please! Definitely stop by this spot if you’re in the area.

We used mountainside to cater dessert for our backyard wedding, and wow was it a hit! They dropped everything off and helped us get it situated. The cake was just what I asked for and as you can see it went quick! The trays and trays of blueberry crumble with bowls of whipped cream were soo delicious.
Katherine is so great to work with and helped me figure out what I needed to feed my party.

Went here today to get the focaccia breakfast sandwich. Have previously had great experiences but will not be back after today. Ordered the sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich and added avocado; my name was taken upon ordering.. The other members of my party also ordered and we stepped aside to sit on the bench near the front room to wait for our order. Shortly after we sat down, an employee came to the area calling out another customer’s name to hand them their order. We sat and waited for 20 minutes and thought it was weird that it was taking so long. So we got up and went back into the main room near the counter. Several arriving customers asked if we were in line and we loudly said no, we had already ordered. We stood there for another 10 minutes before the guy taking the orders informed us that our orders were probable in the back room on the counter. Sure enough there they were - are you kidding me??!! Not one employee could have told us that our food was ready? We had ordered to go so did not eat until we reached our destination. I already knew that I would now have a cold, soggy sandwich. I then discovered that there was no cheese and no avocado even though I was charged an additional $2.50 for the avocado. Poor service from beginning to end. Food and service used to be top notch.
Really beautiful. Homey and welcoming environment. Friendly staff. Sandwiches were great!

So disappointed I drove 30 minutes there on a Saturday morning and the indoor seating area was closed for private events.

Staff was friendly, but very expensive for what it is. $18 for a small iced coffee and cold Turkey and cheese sandwich. Price/quality of both were enough to keep us from going back

Outstanding coffee, cream for me, oat milk for dairy allergy daughter. My homemade breakfast sandwich on jalapeño cheese focaccia bread was simply delicious. My daughter loved the house made granola with oat milk.
