My wife and I went on Friday 3/22. The food was great we started with homemade guacamole and the Cadillac marquritias. My wife ordered the Mexico City tacos and I ordered Enchiladas Rojas with ground beef. For dessert we ordered Churros. We come to this restaurant a lot especially with our son because it almost across the street from our house. This was our first time eating at this establishment. The food, atmosphere and customer service were all outstanding!! If you want the taste of authentic Mexican food come to this place you won’t be disappointed.
I went for their TACO TUESDAY ?? promotionThe chicken taco ?? I had was pretty good ? for a two dollar taco ✌️?. However the venue was too bright ? for my liking; probably to cater to the large party of women ??? sitting across the restaurant taking pictures?. After asking my server to dim the lights a bit, his demeanor changed ? towards my table of two (my girlfriend and I). He did not offer us more chips ? when we finished. Also, he catered to the larger table more (for obvious reasons ??).If you're going to post Taco Tuesday ??signs all over the entrances (the glassdoors and banner), appreciate customers that come in ?? to support it. Otherwise, people can just go to another Mexican-American themed restaurant like Casa Vallarta ??? that doesn't need a cheap tactic to get people through the door to buy expensive drinks. Eye contact ? goes a long way with good customer service.Next time I come in, I'll order an entrée ?, anexpensive drink, and invite my close friends and family to suffer ? the same service I did today(tell me how that makes sense ?♂️)

I went in to the restaurant happy about taco Tuesday and drinks. The experience I had at the restaurant were negative and positive. I state for a 2$ taco you can not go wrong but when I went in with my partner we were not greeted with a warm welcome the waiter did not even look us in the eye and did not check up on us. I want to say the Atmosphere was a three because it was okay my Partner has issues with bright lights and the waiter acted like we were a bother by asking to dim the lights down a little. I am amazed how a place promotes taco Tuesday and you get meet with unpleasantness and make to seem a bother because it will not bring in tips so they thought when I tip generally . I would definitely not recommend this place if i had this service again it was unpleasant and not welcoming but I wanted to love this place based on the reviews I have seen about them but like I said to be meet with not even a warm greeting and my waiter had no idea what we were getting, I think honestly from the beginning of the experience when we wanted to dim the lights because they were in his eyes and what we had ordered he seen our Table as not making money but like I stated if your going to premote taco Tuesday and a welcoming experience please give your customers eye contact and be polite and check up on your table because I felt like like my server neglected our table and was very rude.

Glad we went in. Guacamole prepared fresh table side, really delicious. Combo chicken and steak fajitas are phenomenal. Tacos were unbelievable. Desert, churros were fresh and authentic, fried ice cream spot on. Margaritas very good and generous. Service is like it supposed to be, attentive, quick and didn't miss a beat. This place is a hidden gem. We were pleasantly surprised with the inside authentic decor, much bigger than it looks from the outside. Prices were very reasonable. We found our new dining place for sure. Thank you guys ?Parking: Plenty of free parking behind the restaurant.
We loved it!! We were in town from New York to attend a very sad funeral that day and needed a little kindness and a glass of wine!! We sure got it there...the bartender was so nice and we ordered some food to go with our drinks it was great!! Thank you!

I ordered shrimp fajitas and immediately experienced for poisoning. Mexicali Cantina Grillo did NOTHING about it and Doordash denied my dispute even though this restaurant CLEARLY served spoiled food!!! NEVER EAT THERE...DISGUSTING!!!!
I absolutely loved the food, service, and atmosphere. Inside you really feel transported and it feels very authentic. Food was amazing, there was not a single dish that wasn’t absolutely delicious. If you’re looking for a place to eat with good food and vibes definitely come here!

Mexacili offers a delightful dining experience with its unique decor, creative drinks, friendly waitstaff, and innovative menu. The dishes were beautifully plated and dishes were fresh. We started with the nacho supreme as an appetizer. My husband enjoyed his shrimp. The food was good but nothing special. But my family and I enjoyed our experience and left with all smiles ??
