Went here for the first time.. rice and beans was average, but that's not bad. Turkey was very tender and well seasoned. I was surprised at how tender it was because most places have tough fried turkey. It was a bit pricey but not out of the relm of what it would cost anywhere else. Overall, if im in the area, i will go back. The guy who took my order was funny and friendly. Genuinely cool guy with a contagious laugh.
It is ZERO frills and you'd be better off if you speak Haitian Creole. Communicating was difficult but I said rice and beans? And she said chicken or turkey. I ordered chicken with rice and beans and she disappeared behind the curtain. Reviewers complained that it took 20 minutes and mine might have, but I viewed that as cooked fresh. When I got home and opened the container there was a lot of food. I asked if it was gluten free (which my wife requires) but I'm not sure...
This place is my preferable restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this restaurant. everytime I feel like having a fair supper, this is the place that comes first to my head. Great and all sorts of food and a large list of dishes.great staff members, and good mood. Not less important, the charge is decent. I tell about this spot with pleasure.
