Got sweet and spicy chicken and the chicken is RAW.
One of the best meals my wife and I have ever had! Must try the rasta pasta dish.
I ordered from the well like I normally do and asked for a plate of fried fish asking if it came with curry gravy instead of the brown stew. The girl who took my order said yes, and put in an order for a boiled curry fish that was not fried. When I checked my plate and seen that it was incorrect I informed another young lady who had braids and she walked away to figure out what happened. Later the young lady came back to me to receive clarity on what I wanted and put in the correct order. I was fine, waited for my food patiently and then At some point she Walked away and came back after to tell me to make sure that next time to make sure I am more clear about what I want and told me how I should ask moving forward. I explained to her that maybe it was a miscommunication issue with the first girl and informed her that she was wrong about how the interaction went- also i told her that i was clear about wanting the fried fish & that she herself wasn’t there during the interaction so truthfully I don’t feel she should have commented that way to me. And With an attitude , She reiterated that still I should have said “fried fish with curry gravy “ which I feel is the same thing I said, and expressed that it was probably just a miscommunication issue . Personally, I don’t think she needed to say anything to me after we fixed the issue and I didn’t need to be told about how to order next time when she wasn’t even there to hear what I ordered the first time. I felt I was clear. The slight attitude I received from her was not necessary. I drove 30 mins to buy food from the well which for me on a work day is hard because I do not live close by but I do like their food / and that it is a black establishment . but for me customer service from black owned establishments is important. I’m tired of going to black owned places to support and the service being bad or the person being rude and quick to have an attitude when I am always very kind. I may continue to support because I’ve had other interactions there that weren’t bad but I do pay attention to these things & it can be a turn off
Food is amazing, and the music was inspirational, but the server was downright rude. I came for a “too good to go” order. When I got to the counter, I said “wow, I love this music!!! I’m going to need to know what the name of this song is!”
“I have no idea what the song is. Can I help you?” The lady said.
“I have a too good to go order.” I said, showing her on the app.
“Let me see it again.” She said.
I put it in front of her.
“Tap and swipe for me.” She said.
I did.
She handed me a bag.
It was all very curt.
I took the bag, no silverware, and sat down to eat.
As I opened the container I heard her from across the counter: “you can’t sit there!”
I told her I was just going to eat my dinner.
“You can’t sit there.” She said.
Where can I sit, then?” I asked, at this point I’m getting annoyed because I came in with a great impression of this place, from the mission statement to the uplifting worship music, but this woman…very curt the entire time, and now I buy food form this place and she’s telling me I can’t eat it here?!
“Under the TV” she says, motioning for me to move.
I moved but at that point I had lost my appetite. I left and gave the meal to someone else.
Really strange how someone can single handedly destroy a positive mood and impression in the span of like 5 min, but she did it.
Again, food was great. I didn’t eat it but the bite I had was good. But unless they have better service, the worship music and friendly posters mean little. Kindness and love require action, not just words.

The sides were actually good. Plantains and spicy baked Mac n cheese. the main courses we got were very disappointing. Oxtail no meat only grizzle. Too bad the sauce was decent. We also got jerk chicken. Not allot of meat or sauce. Counter worker looked like shee would rather be somewhere else

It has been really hard finding a Jamaican restaurant locally with consistent food and good service. I actually found this place from a TikTok review and I’m glad I listened!! The chicken beef Pattie’s are so flavorful, the curry chicken is always fresh and packs a true curry taste, the wings are always a must starter and the jerk always gives your taste buds a kick!! They even do Jamaican pizza!! This is a must try!!

The food is good but 28 dollars for a plate of Oxtail you can’t even call a plate. Too many times I’ve had different portions all small asf and to charge as much as y’all do is crazy and I get oxtail is expensive but yall don’t even put the gravy all over the rice. Its not okay everyone should get their moneys with and to get four tiny ass pieces of oxtail and some of it ain’t even falling off the bone a probably then the dry ass rice.

This is my second time here and idk why i was expexting the food to be better. Not what I expected from a Jamaican restaurant . The snapper need a lot a lime and salt. I love snapper and this fish was taken out the sea and places on my plate. No seasoning or permento seeds.
