Amazing Delivery Experience!
I ordered from Toast of the Town for delivery, and it was incredible! The food arrived on time, still warm, and packaged perfectly to maintain freshness. Every bite tasted like it was straight from their kitchen to my table.
The avocado toast was a standout—fresh, flavorful, and generously topped. The French toast traveled surprisingly well, staying soft and perfectly sweet without getting soggy. Even the coffee I ordered was thoughtfully packaged and still warm!
I really appreciated the care they put into their delivery service, from the quality of the food to the secure and eco-friendly packaging. Toast of the Town made my lazy day at home feel like a gourmet brunch experience. Definitely ordering again!
Homey, aged local breakfast and lunch restaurant. Ceilings and bathrooms need renovation, but otherwise it is cozy and clean. Tables and counter seating - no booths - so handicap access is reasonable. Carpeted floor mutes noise, so the sound level was comfortable, despite the restaurant being half full on a Sunday morning at 9:30am.
Service was quick, super friendly and attentive. Lots of check ins and offers of coffee refills.
I ordered the "chili skillet" (fresh chunky home fried potatoes topped with mild chili with meat, cheese and 2 eggs with toast). Something different that I've never seen at other restaurants. Served piping hot, perfectly runny yolks on my over easy eggs, lots of chili and melted cheese. YUM! Almost licked the skillet! And the price was as very reasonable, too.
I drove an extra town over just to visit Toast of the Town while driving through the area. Given it's good past reviews and interesting menu, I had to seek it out. I was not disappointed!

I enjoy this little breakfast joint. I feel that Toast of the Town is a throwback to better, simpler times, (late 80s / early 90s).

Humble hole-in-the-wall ambience, but solid and filling breakfast menu. We had omlettes and eggs and lox, the grilled bagel was perfection! Very friendly service!

We were looking for a place to have a nice sit down breakfast, and noticed that this place serves homemade corned beef hash!!! Once I regained control of my emotions, we rushed over!! The portion sizes are unreal!! Omelets the size of footballs!!! I have to stop, I'm getting emotional again!! If you are looking for a great home style breakfast your search is over..

Food taste like it was thrown on and cooked no seasoning on the eggs bacon sausage or homefries. It hit the spot the price is what you pay for but no seasoning maybe add a little salt and pepper

Other than the food, the reason this place has been open for so long is due to the people that work there. They're always nice and attentive. I started by placing orders over the phone when my job moved to Randolph and I needed to find a new breakfast spot. I was both shocked and felt special when the 3rd time I called I was asked if this was Margaret and they'd have my order ready for me in 10 minutes. Jackie smiled when I came in and greeted me with my food. That's what I call excellent customer service! The food portion and price and pre covid if you know what I mean. Lol
Honestly, the portions are large and what you're paying is cheap for a great meal. I would recommend anyone here!
