Went here with a group of 5 for an early dinner on a Sunday. It was very busy, so I was really glad we had a reservation. We were seated right away, and our server was very friendly. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks (they had some fun valentine's day drinks for the weekend). The stuffed haddock was very good, and mashed potatoes were a surprising highlight. Would definitely come back!

This was our first time at Barrels and Boards, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Food and service was excellent especially considering it was a busy Valentine's Day! They even gave out long stem roses which was a nice touch, we will definitely return!

I’m close to sixty years old and I don’t enjoy a laud atmosphere when I eat. I like to be able to hear the people I’m with without yelling. I found this restaurant to be wonderful in every way. I’ll pay a little more to have an enjoyable time!

Sara was an incredible, polite, kind, and diligent waitress and I really appreciated her personality and her taking care of us. Thank you 🙏 merry Christmas! (Also the king burger was absolutely BOMB so good. The New England soup is also YUM. Thanks chefs) the environment is soo cozy and they decorate every season, love it so much. The bathroom also smelled really good and was clean.

Celebrated my 25th birthday here! I wish I remembered our servers name, she was amazing. Didn’t skip a beat and made it so easy to split the bill for a large party. The stuffed quahog was honestly the best I’ve ever had, and the mules were addictive haha. Made for a great night!

Had the rib-eye that was good, mom had the scallops she said were ok as well, extremely pricey, however we were sat around a bunch of families with children in a room that felt like we were at the ground round.. nothing honestly stood out imo a good steak but thats about it and i can get that at a lot of other resteraunts without breaking the bank
