My Fiancé and I came here for the first time recently and we were blown away! We ordered the steak tips and fish & chips, both entrees were incredible. Dessert was also excellent, we ordered the bacon waffle dish. Our server Janel was on top of everything and was very friendly. We will for sure be returning & recommending this place to friends!

Great place, we dined for the first time and really enjoyed our dinners, apps and drinks. The sangria flight was perfect! My only complaint, which I soon got over, was from the packed parking lot I called and asked how long the wait was and was told no wait. Walked from car directly inside and was told 15-20 min. While that is a short wait I was told there wasn't one and was standing against the wall because it was pouring and didn't want to walk to the car to wait for the ready text. I do appreciate the truth and a place to sit while waiting. Other than that it was perfect!

It was time for our weekend date night and turned into an amazing evening. Arrived at Barrels and Boards with a full parking lot and it appeared to be a small establishment. It was very deceiving with the well use of space with sections separately divided by glass doors to see everywhere but secluded enough to carry out a conversation. We were met by Sarah who was attentive and a great source of knowledge about pretty much everything to do with the restaurant as well as the menu items. The Seafood Trio, Calamari and Steak Tips were all perfectly prepared and the portions lasted us another meal for the next day. The smoked drinks were probably the best we've had and the attention to detail of each one we tried will make us return even if just for a night cap. The Smoked Maple Bourbon Old Fashion and Smoked Pineapple Margarita are a must. Definitely a wonderful experience.

Love this place. Love vibe of it. Drinks are awesome. Try the Jalapeño Margarita ;) This restaurant Is for the whole family. The only thing I would say, is we had the Margherita pizza for the first time and the tomatoes were cut too thick. But other than that is a 10.

I have to say that every time I go here, it's amazing... Erica is great... she helped me with my St Patrick's day reservation that I had to keep adding people to.. and was happy to do it. The food is awesome. Love the bourbon pretzels.. and the whiskey burger is out of this world.. on St Patrick's day.. we had the lamb stew and it was slammin.. perfect!!

The food was delicious. The drinks were great and the ambience was a bit busy. We were there on St. Patrick's Day, but it didn't bother us at all. We had alcoholic drinks, appetizers and our entrees and everything was very good. We will definitely return.

The stuffed scrod with newburg sauce with rice and green beans was excellent. The steak tips with mashed and green beans. Excellent the tips were super tender. The baked haddock was excellent. Portions were good. The shrimp and corn chowder good taste but no shrimp. The chowder was nice and creamy. The onion soup had cream in it. A little awkward for my liking but still tasted good. The service was excellent. We went earlier so we beat the crowd. Made a reservation with open table so no waiting. Perfect. Definitely would go back.

The place was packed and most of the time that means the food is good, not this time unfortunately. Let me start by saying that the server did a good job! We ordered some appetizers, Wings and some Egg Rolls. The wings had to be the smallest I’ve ever seen. Seriously! The Egg Rolls were decent I guess. The wife ordered a Bourbon Brisket with Cheese sandwich, it was good just a little dry. I had the haddock and whatever batter they used from the first bite made me regret ordering the fish. The batter was still a little wet in the inside and although the fish looked fresh it just wasn’t cooked well enough to me. The coleslaw sadly had no flavor. The best thing to me were the fries, I liked the way they made them with real potato slices. I wouldn’t say avoid this restaurant but for the price of the food and with so many other options I would definitely keep driving to another spot next time.
