Recently, I had one of the most disappointing fast-food experiences of my life at the McDonald’s in Taunton, Massachusetts. What should have been a quick stop for a shake and a large fry turned into a thirty-minute ordeal filled with frustration, confusion, and an appalling lack of basic service. Despite McDonald’s reputation for fast, convenient meals, this location failed to meet even the simplest expectations.
First, the wait time was completely unacceptable. I ordered nothing more than a large fry and a shake—two items that should be staples of speedy service. Instead, I sat for thirty minutes watching other customers grow equally impatient while the staff seemed indifferent. A fast-food restaurant that cannot deliver basic items within a reasonable time defeats its own purpose.
To make matters worse, when I finally had my shake and McFlurry in hand, I realized they hadn’t even given me a spoon. Eating a McFlurry without a spoon is impossible, so my dessert sat there melting into a sad, sticky mess. As for the fries, they were soggy and lukewarm—far from the crisp, hot fries McDonald’s is known for. It felt like an insult after everything I’d already endured.
In conclusion, my visit to the McDonald’s in Taunton was so unacceptable that I had to leave a one-star review. From the outrageous wait time to making my own food, the entire experience showed an appalling lack of customer service and basic quality control. No one goes to McDonald’s expecting fine dining, but we do expect decent service, hot fries, and cold shakes—and this location failed on every level. I hope they improve, but until then, I won’t be back.

Bad experience, I understand they were 3 people short and training new staff but I waited over 45 minutes for food with my son. At the 50 minute mark I asked for a refund they need help here big time but just warning others if you are trying to get a quick bite with your children here isn't the place

I like the service here. The fries are always fresh when I get there. The employees are friendly and awesome. Also, they never messed up my order. The employees are attentive and engaging. Give them gift cards for doing an amazing job.
I just don't know on what planet this location has anything more than one star. If you want to order a happy meal at the ripe old age of 18 and maybe finally get it when you're 102 then this is the McDonald's for you! Love getting an incorrect order after waiting for forty five minutes? We got you! Love ordering online then being told they don't have the product at the window, and then never get refunded? Well this is definitely the McDonald's for you! I live near this location and periodically will go here to see if it's improved. Been years and counting.

HOLY COW! Talk about being ignored.. 20 minutes standing up in the lobby waiting for my order and NOTHING! At least 5-6 people standing there while they serve drive thru at a fast pace.. Hello! ? Are we invisible? What's going on here?? I want my food also. That I ordered 25 min ago. Just horrible unexplainable service. I cancelled my order and walked out. !!

This is the most disorganized and overall lack of caring mcdonalds I have ever been to. Theres been times where I have waited 45+minutes from ordering my food to get my food. Multiple times I have got borderline raw meat on my Big Macs and Quarter Pounders. And when I say raw, I mean it looked like they cooked it for 10 seconds each side. Overcooked fries are very common also. You can just tell everybody here hates being here and the food is a tell tale sign. I have given this location sooo many chances for redemption but sadly every time I stop here they remind me to never stop by again. Drive the ten minutes to another location.
