The owner was very pleasant came out and met us very nice. Food was very good, and cooked to perfection, the server was very efficient and also pleasant very family oriented. I would definitely recommend this place.

The food at Mel's diner is very good The service is good but again yesterday Tuesday June 18th I called and asked if they were going to be open they said yes My phone call was at 1051 a.m. we got there at 11:48 a.m. and they were closed and this happens a lot on their page it says they're open but they're closed so I wouldn't waste my time trying to go there because in the past 4 weeks four times that we've gone there to go when the paces open they're not they closed

Enjoyed a nice breakfast/lunch here with a friend. First Thing cash only. Not a big deal but you need to be prepared. The service was great, very friendly! The food was also great! All things breakfast. Big portions & very tastey! Parking is plentiful. Definitely a great place for breakfast.

I didn't think places like Mel's still existed. Bringing the old diner experience, with luncheonette seats as well as tables and skilled old-school waitresses, the feng shui alone is worth the visit. But the food is even better. And the prices don't seem to have heard about post-pandemic inflation, leaving room for a generous tip. I was on a road trip so don't live nearby, but I'll 100% be back the next time I'm in the area.
