Stoneforge Tavern & Publick House

Went for our anniversary dinner, food was brought out and no silverware after waiting ten minutes went inside to ask for silverware. Then significant others food was cooked wrong and cold. His sides never came out. They took it off the bill but very disappointed as we very rarely get out just the two of us and wanted a nice dinner. The drinks however were pretty good

My husband and I had the most perfect lunch here today. Stoneforge is in a great location right off of Rt.44. There is plenty of parking. During the warmer months, they offer outdoor dining. We took advantage of that today and were not let down. Whoever is in charge of arranging the florals- excellent job. They’re stunning! Now, for our waitress, Christy (maybe Chrissy. I’m so sorry if I’m misspelling!); she was a delight. Very on top of drink refills and refreshingly polite. We ordered the spinach dip for our appetizer. It was delicious! The artichoke hearts were perfect. The pita bread for dipping is a unique addition that we really appreciated. For lunch, I chose the apple cranberry chicken salad and opted for it to come on a croissant- that was absolutely perfect. My husband built his own chicken sandwich. Yum! We finished everything off with a coffee & made plans with our server to return as a treat to our daughter to start Summer off right. We can’t wait!

Good baked stuffed shrimp

Keisha on the Tavern side took care of my Dad and our Family tonight. She was patient with all 6 of us including two little people (10&8.). she got us every thing we needed with dinner. Lastly took a few photos of us to commemorate the 3 of our birthdays. 10/10 She's FANTASTIC. thanks for recommending the Chicken Milanese.. the Bomb! She's keeping alot of guests moving through this place happy to go back again, for sure! Someone buy this girl's turkey this year, she's shiny. 🤩Thanks girl!!

Dined in tonight for the second time, everything was wonderful. Food was delicious, great portions. Our server Keisha was very friendly & attentive!

Dined at Public House because wait time too long at Tavern which I loved before. Very disappointed on 10/19/24. Service very poor, food served cold, drink order took 15 minutes...what happened?

We had a rehearsal dinner there with about 20 people. Atmosphere was great, fireplace and decor was comfy. Our server was alone but still she did a fantastic job.. unfortunately the food wasn’t very good (ckn parm tasted like a grocery store frozen patties)..whole chunks of garlic on the bottom of a ceaser salad night before a wedding)..

This place was across the street from my hotel, I saw a few reviews about rude service that almost put me off, but decided whatever. I can say I didn't even have a hint of anything like that. I sat at the bar, everyone I interacted with was friendly. I got the Lobster Mac for dinner. It was delicious and they definitely don't skimp on lobster, there was plenty in there. Also had the hot cookie skillet for dessert. Really tasty, would recommend. The bar and stools could use refinishing is my only minor complaint. I woulbadine here again.

Great spot for a date, game in the bar, or hang. Some really good food, braised short rib and steak n cheese egg rolls are my two favorites but most dishes are good, rattlesnake pasta or thai chicken lettuce wraps on the lighter side. Worth stopping in

we are moved in a another Town but we come one s in the week and enjoy that nice Team and the very good Food.
