Starting off by saying that my wife and I frequent the stone forge for dinner and have not had many issues with food or service over the years... we did take out tonight and I wasn't very hungry so I just got a piece of carrot cake.... $14 yes I thought it was a little on the pricy side but figured it would be a good size piece for that price. wrong, got home and opened the bag and found my inch and a half thick piece of cake hiding in the corner of the to go container. absolute rip off! very disappointed to say the least.

Great little local tavern, super nice owners, patrons and staff, great drink prices and a pretty respectable bar pie. Definitely stop back in when I'm in the neighborhood

Mash potatoes were watery. Sent back meal. Got chicken parm with pasta. Food wasnt hot. Ate a couple bites and took home snd threw out. Not enough sauce. The only good thing was the steak fries. Nice and crispy and hot. If you changed your cook you need to replace him. Waitress Keisha was very nice and accomodating. Even the two meals we took home for the kids werent great. That was our kids thoughts. Kids like everything so to say negative things says it all. Very upset. Spent over $100 for nothing. Thanks

This was our first stop for lunch on our way to Newport, Rhode Island. All I ordered was the clam chowder, which was melt in your mouth delicious! It was probably one of the best bowls of clam chowder that I had on our 12 day trip in New England. My husband ordered a burger and fries found it to also be delicious. The service was excellent and loved the ambience of the entire restaurant.
Love this place, clean with great food and amazing staff!

I have eaten here a handful of times. The food is always good. I'm writing tonight, however, to compliment the service of the host staff at the tavern. I walked in looking to claim a reservation I thought my wife had made. They didn't have a reservation on the books but they worked tirelessly with me to figure out the situation. They checked their other location and even found me a table anyway, without a reservation. Unfortunately I was in the wrong restaurant all along so I ended up leaving, but I just had to give these hosts their kudos

We came in from out of town and wanted to try a place that wasn't a chain. When we pulled up, it was so cute to look at! Two entrances- Tavern Entrance and Publick House Entrance. We assumed the Tavern entrance was for the bar and Publick House for the restaurant. Whoops. Tavern is where you would eat- and Publick House opens later. Save yourself the wandering! We had a nice waitress who was very busy. So busy she was known to walk away as we were speaking to her. We ordered soups, salads, and sandwiches. The table next to us sat down, got their food, and left. Caught up with our waitress and were assured they were working on our food. Same table- new crowd. Sat down, got their food, and as they were paying- ours came out. Food was decent, cannot complain about that. Had to send one soup back as it was cold. Uncertain what happened behind the scenes for everything to take so very long, but it did not leave a good impression. Mentioned something to the waitress and she just apologized and dropped it. If in the area again, I will be searching something different.
The service was slown and unfriendly. ordered drinks waiting for remainder of party. They arrived and wanted to order apps. Waitress comes over to see if we're ready to order and she appeared irritated when we wanted apps. Buffalo chicken dip nothing more than a bowl of cream cheese. Cobb salad nothing but LOTS of lettuce and an egg. Couldn't find the bacon or the cheese. For the price, try another place, as the service and food not that appealing.
Went for our anniversary dinner, food was brought out and no silverware after waiting ten minutes went inside to ask for silverware. Then significant others food was cooked wrong and cold. His sides never came out. They took it off the bill but very disappointed as we very rarely get out just the two of us and wanted a nice dinner. The drinks however were pretty good
