Service was excellent. It seemed like we caught it on a quiet night. Food was good! The band they had was excellent too.

Drinks are good. Food is struggling - really has gone downhill over the last year+. Want to love this place because the outdoor dining area and live music rotation is great.

We had a lovely evening, the weather was perfect our food was very good and our waitress Autumn was very attentive and pleasant. Also it was nice that the music was not so loud that you could have a conversation without shouting. Highly recommend for a night out.

Sarah, the bartender was great, there was a potential storm coming, but she never made us feel that she was closing up and pushing us away

We always have a good time when we come to Hillside Tavern. Their waitstaff is awesome and it is always good vibes

Overall, the food was good. Unfortunately, my fish and chips left a lot to be desired. The fries were excellent, but as for the fish, which had WAY too much batter, that's another story. I literally had to search for fish amongst the heavy batter that was served to me. I regretted not getting the Shrimp Scampi, which my mother had ordered and turned out to be delicious. My wife and father both loved their salmon entrees, and the chowder was excellent. I wouldn't order the fish and chips again, but there are plenty of other delicious options and, as always, the views and ambiance were top notch. We'll definitely be back!

We got married at Hillside nine years ago and go there every year for anniversary and soon the tiki bar. This year it had rained so we had to sit in what looked like a storage area. The tavern with the indoor seating wasn't even open. It was loud messy and the waitstaff was moving tables around right behind us to make a room for someone playing music in that small area which made it so loud it was not enjoyable at all.

Enjoy a comfortable country golf setting - beautiful area if you want to avoid city traffic, congestion, etc. Great atmosphere, food, and service!

Service and the entertainment were great! We were a bit disappointed with the food. My husband ordered the Tennessee Whiskey glazed steak tips and was surprised that the glaze was more of a dark gravy instead. I had the steak fajitas and the tortillas were grilled and tasted like burnt oil. My expectation was a regular warmed flour tortillas. The clam chowder was awesome! So overall for the price, we expected a more enjoyable meal.

First time dining here and the food left little to be desired. Ordered a salad and noticed immediately that the tomatoes didn't taste right. One of them had a large black and white mold spot on it, so at that point I opted not to finish my meal. Table was wobbly so any little movement meant the water glasses spilled over and onto the table. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

I went for a Birthday celebration and had no idea that there was a band playing that night. Needless to say we couldn't hear each other talking. Also, no fault of her own there was only one waitress for the whole room and SHE WAS ALSO THE BARTENDER!! One thing I can say is she always had a smile on her face.

We were a party of 6 and all enjoyed our meals. Service was excellent! One in the party has celiac disease and the waitress provided a menu with safe options notated. A few of us were first-timers and were completely satisfied with our meals. We will be back!

Great place for having a drink or dinner. Had my daughter’s wedding there and it was FANTASTIC!

Great night with the staff they need to open the menu up with more options also keep the bar open after the show and also should have more venues that will keep the crowd coming back

Again..... a single person was the bartender AND the only waitress for the entire restaurant. She tried very hard while being out in an unfair position. The food was ok, the drinks were weak. The music was the best part about our experience.
