Overall, the food was good. Unfortunately, my fish and chips left a lot to be desired. The fries were excellent, but as for the fish, which had WAY too much batter, that's another story. I literally had to search for fish amongst the heavy batter that was served to me. I regretted not getting the Shrimp Scampi, which my mother had ordered and turned out to be delicious. My wife and father both loved their salmon entrees, and the chowder was excellent. I wouldn't order the fish and chips again, but there are plenty of other delicious options and, as always, the views and ambiance were top notch. We'll definitely be back!

We got married at Hillside nine years ago and go there every year for anniversary and soon the tiki bar. This year it had rained so we had to sit in what looked like a storage area. The tavern with the indoor seating wasn't even open. It was loud messy and the waitstaff was moving tables around right behind us to make a room for someone playing music in that small area which made it so loud it was not enjoyable at all.

Enjoy a comfortable country golf setting - beautiful area if you want to avoid city traffic, congestion, etc. Great atmosphere, food, and service!

Service and the entertainment were great! We were a bit disappointed with the food. My husband ordered the Tennessee Whiskey glazed steak tips and was surprised that the glaze was more of a dark gravy instead. I had the steak fajitas and the tortillas were grilled and tasted like burnt oil. My expectation was a regular warmed flour tortillas. The clam chowder was awesome! So overall for the price, we expected a more enjoyable meal.

First time dining here and the food left little to be desired. Ordered a salad and noticed immediately that the tomatoes didn't taste right. One of them had a large black and white mold spot on it, so at that point I opted not to finish my meal. Table was wobbly so any little movement meant the water glasses spilled over and onto the table. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

I went for a Birthday celebration and had no idea that there was a band playing that night. Needless to say we couldn't hear each other talking. Also, no fault of her own there was only one waitress for the whole room and SHE WAS ALSO THE BARTENDER!! One thing I can say is she always had a smile on her face.

We were a party of 6 and all enjoyed our meals. Service was excellent! One in the party has celiac disease and the waitress provided a menu with safe options notated. A few of us were first-timers and were completely satisfied with our meals. We will be back!

Great night with the staff they need to open the menu up with more options also keep the bar open after the show and also should have more venues that will keep the crowd coming back

Again..... a single person was the bartender AND the only waitress for the entire restaurant. She tried very hard while being out in an unfair position. The food was ok, the drinks were weak. The music was the best part about our experience.

We found the menu limited and a little pricey we wanted fish taco and cauliflower tacos and they had no tacos (send someone to stop and shop) the fish sandwich was served on a hamburger bun. We were members there before the fire and the food was amazing before the rebuild we will not be back ?

First time diners at Hillside. We had a golfer among our party of 4 and thought he'd appreciate the local venue during their visit. Appeared to have shortage of staff this night since we stood a few minutes at the hostess table. Slow service for drinks then our dinner order got screwed up. I think the manager came over and double checked the order and apologized for the delay. A round of comp drinks was offered...very nice and appreciated. The meals were good but presentations disappointing. Thought there was a new chef? Online menu was not at the Tiki bar. Great atmosphere since there was wonderful trio of live music! We enjoyed this. Perfect volume for the outside venue and conversations. Thanks for that.

The food was really good! Fish and chips, burger, chicken Milanese. All great! Clam appetizer was delicious as well as the fig and prosciutto pizza. Highly recommend. Great view too.

Have enjoyed Hillside Tavern and Tiki extremely well always enjoy it for the last few years. Great place to come during the week lunch early dinner and on a weekend to hear music and enjoy the time with friends. The service is always great and friendly. Thank you again for your great service.

Upon my arrival, I found out that the indoor restaurant I had made a reservation for was closed. Instead, I was directed to the tiki bar, an outdoor venue with a view of the golf course, which was not what I had anticipated. Despite this, the fish and chips I ordered turned out to be delicious, and the bartender provided great service. However, I was disappointed to receive pub-style food at a tiki bar instead of the restaurant-style dining I was expecting based on my reservation.

Very disappointed in the location. We signed up for the Tiki at the Tavern, but it was closed due to rain. That was not their fault, however we were put in the very loud Tavern. You could not hear each other talk. We picked this restaurant because I saw white table clothes overlooking a golf course. It was our 43rd wedding anniversary and we brought our two daughters. Food was delicious, hated the location
