I placed an order on December 1 for a two hour delivery at the BJ's store in Revere, Mass. About four hours later, a store manager called me and told me they couldn't process the order and asked me if wanted it delivered or cancelled. I asked her to cancel and she reassured me that my credit card would not be charged. Well two days later my credit card was charged and the order is showing on my app as delivered. I called BJ's and Calisa, Manager told me that they had nothing to do with that and to contact Doordash. After telling her I placed the order thru the BJ's app and it was their responsibility she said she would call dooordash. Later on that night some guy from Doordash called me and said they needed to "investigate" where the order went before they could do anything. Seriously??? The charge is still on my credit card. I just called my credit card company and started a dispute. Wow!!! So far, I spoke to two managers at BJ's in Revere, one doordash guy who couldn't even speak English and my credit card company. I am extremely frustrated at this point. Trying to order from BJ's shouldn't be this hard!!!

Someone in BJ’s senior leadership needs to explain to me why our membership fees don’t cover the cost of fully staffing the Revere, MA location. The staff here are polite and professional; it’s an insult to their hard work that their numbers aren’t increased to meet the clear demands. Waiting thirty minutes to check out is utterly preposterous. Saving money by understaffing isn’t a business plan - it’s a go out of business plan.

here is my complaint. BJ's has suddenly decided not to except paper coupons even though they mailed out coupon booklets to their customers. This to me was the best part about BJ's, and now there is no reason to remain a member. I can get great deals at other stores who do want my business.
