This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Boston area. I especially love the ash reshteh (noodle soup) and the joojeh kabab. If you call ahead, the lovely owner can even prepare tahdig for you, what a treat!
You enter through the patio door, and if you play your cards right, you do so on a windy and chilly winter night where the warmth and the ambiance of this particular fine establishment floors you… I mean it is seriously COZY in here. My mom and I came to Boston to see an oncologist for her stage 4 breast cancer. We came to this restaurant hoping to feel a bit more at home — and that’s exactly what we found. When the host, Nasim, asked why we were visiting, we shared our story, and she insisted that we not pay as a sign of good luck. She was so incredibly generous and spent so much time talking with us and comforting us.
