I really enjoyed this neighborhood pizza joint. The pizza was solid, as were the stuffed shells and veal parmesan. The salad felt like a real salad. The guy behind the counter was very nice and the place is open late, just a short block from the Beachmont T stop. The prices were excellent, especially after traveling in Salem and Boston during the day.

Our hotel front desk suggested this restaurant for lunch. We loved it. We split a chef salad and a meatball sub, then a housemade cannoli. So good! And they had steady customers. Both waitresses were friendly and helpful. Lots of customers were getting pizza too.

Could not even order takeout when we arrived because the lady at the front did not give us ANY time to read the menu. She became extremely rude and provoking, speaking obscenities to herself because we had not immediately made our order as soon as we stepped through the door. I doubt the food was even worth the attitude she gave us.

I went here as a kid all the time. I came back after 20 years and the food still tastes the same.

Worst customer service ever. Maybe the ladies are too old to understand customers and be patient. Only the guy has a friendly attitude. I shouldn’t feel scared or horrible ordering food. If you don’t want to make money, just close your store. They don’t seem happy when they see a customer. The pizza is good, though. I'm not going to go there as often anymore because the food is not good enough to ignore this type of attitude from the employee

Normally when I read "best pizza in x town" I don't believe them. But this is the best pizza I've had in my natural born life.

Pizza is over priced and nasty, much better places in Revere Eastie and Winthrop.. this place is a dive bar that happens to make school lunch quality pasta.. terrible Italian food.. ps, as a local, a lot of these reviews seem fake. I PROMISE you, Domino’s is better..

The guy taking orders was very friendly and customer service oriented. It was a nice little joint. We were visiting Boston and staying at a nearby Holiday Inn,, which was a short walk from Luigi's. We ate here because of the reviews. The food was not as good as we expected based on reviews. The meat calzone was light on the cheese and it lacked flavor. My wings tasted fine but weren't crispy but still dark in spots. I think they cooked the wings in the pizza oven. They have fried food so they should consider frying them to get a better crisp. My wife got the veal parm and thought it was ok. The mozzarella sticks are a tad better than the frozen ones from the grocery store. I liked the blue cheese that came with the wings and the caeser salad was good. Even though we are here for four days, we will try other places based on the food.

From the minute we arrived to the time we walked out the door an hour and a half later we experienced dining heaven! Josie greeted us and we knew right then that my wife found the perfect local Italian restaurant to meet our son, daughter, and son-in-law arriving from the airport. As we waited for them we ordered drinks and an appetizer--fried ravioli, so good dipped in the meat sauce. My son ordered two slices of their award winning pizza, fresh out of the oven, my daughter and son-in-law had a supreme pizza that looked and tasted magnificent, my wife had the linguini and meatballs, I had the ziti with sausage, all of it prepared to perfection!

Family owned, it's been in business since 1981. Josie, who did more than just wait on us, is wonderful, so personable and accommodating, and we Midwesterners loved her Boston Italian accent! She even introduced us to the owner, the nephew of Luigi, the founder. And she wouldn't let us leave without a hug, and also presented my wife and me some homemade cannolis when we told her we had recently celebrated our 40th anniversary. It was easy to rank this as our number one dining experience of our 2 week New England getaway!
