Was just ok. The steak tips, although were a generous portion, were charred on the outside & really had no flavor to the meat other than char, almost like the meat wasn't seasoned. The eggs, toast, & potatoes were ok enough. Booth seats were a bit weird/uncomfortable, would sit at a table if we went back.

There is a sign to seat yourself in any clean table when you enter. When we first went in, it was jam packed. Only one table open, so we sat ourselves at that table. I guess it was a table for 4 people or more only? We sat there to be reseated and never were reseated. Instead our waitress kept yelling at us and talking badly about us five feet away. Rude cranky old lady. Everyone around our table complained about their breakfast.
Food took forever to come out. Waffles were bad. Our home fries were literally burnt and inedible…. Will not be back. Get a host if you dont want people seating themselves.

Stopped for the first time and immediately were greeted like regulars. The staff were seemingly having fun which made the atmosphere welcoming. We didn’t feel rushed. The sandwiches were delicious and plentiful. Will definitely go back and we’re from Central Mass.

I loved this place as a teenager usually I stick with just a cheese omelette and keep it simple every time. That’s probably why I’ve never been disappointed like this. I saw they offered the hungry man special with steak tips instead of bacon and sausage I’m eating for two so yes I got it and I love steak and eggs but I was sadly very disappointed too much sodium content on the steak marinade and overcooked to literally leather and I asked for them medium rare. They’re inedible. Being in the restaurant business for many years I don’t appreciate when the manager is clearly in the background but it’s not busy and doesn’t come on the phone and tries to act like giving you a discount for “next time” is sufficient. Automatically assuming you’ll come back. It’s rude. I was just charged 20 dollars for one breakfast I asked for my money for the difference for the steak back and I was told to just come in for a discount for next time and it seemed like they were rushing me off the phone. I don’t appreciate it. That being said I like the establishment in general I really like the woman who’s always working there you can tell she works hard and cares about people and it’s seldom to find these days. So I couldn’t say no to her and said I’ll come back next time. But ultimately the bottom line is you go to a food place for the food, not because you like somebody and to me that was a huge reflection of their understanding of good food. I don’t understand how they have steak tips on a menu charge me a 20 dollar breakfast and serve me that.

We have been here several times and decided to go for breakfast on Valentine's Day. I was served moldy toast, and when the owner came out, he tried to say they didn't see it. He apologized, but if you can't see mold on the buttered side of the bread, you need new cooks. We went at a time when they were not busy at all. So there is no excuse.
