Volare Restaurant & Bar offers a mix of experiences. Some guests were disappointed when karaoke advertised online was not available, replaced by just music. However, the food receives high praise. Takeout was FANTASTIC, with delicious bolognese, out of this world pistachio crusted haddock, and a very good arugula strawberry salad. The chicken parmigiana is a very good piece with perfect tomato sauce, and the chicken parm is done to perfection. Other popular meals include salimboca, gnocchi, ravioli, antipasto, chicken piccata, and veal parm with vodka sauce. The drink menu is really good, featuring espresso martinis to die for and a hell of a pistachio martini. The service is great, with helpful and nice staff who provide great recommendations. The vibe is excellent, described as feeling like home eating dinner with family, with north end vibes. The owners are gracious and welcoming. Prices are reasonable. Overall, the food is incredible and the experience is relaxing and enjoyable.
