Everything was delicious! Took our gluten free requests seriously due to celiac. Put curtains on the side for our Cesar salad the gluten free pasta was amazing overall a wonderful experience and our waitress was fantastic
Had a lovely experience celebrating my husband's birthday. Was seated right away. Great table. Our Server was fantastic. The food was absolutely amazing! Appetizer, cocktails, entree & dessert were absolutely scrumptious!!! Will absolutely be returning!!!
Service is always good and friendly. Plenty of options on menu, and food is always good. No need to drive into the North End!
I love Lucca it never disappoints. Waitress was so attentive to us ! We had a party of 7 including two kids 5 and 7 . Very enjoyable dinner! I have always felt that the waiter or waitress can make or break the meal. The food was outstanding as always!
Excellent food and drinks, with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The menu is varied, with many options to please most palates. Prices are around what one would expect for an upscale restaurant.
A woman came over twice to let us know our server would be to our table soon and took our drink order to start. When the waiter finally came over We were told the menus we had we're not up-to-date, which was frustrating. We ordered three appetizers and only two came out. It took forever to the waiter to come back, and he said he didn't hear the missing item when we put in our order. He offered to add it, but at that point we were already done with the other apps and ready for our entrées. The entrées were decent but nothing special. We were intrigued by the espresso flight and glad we tried it. Overall, it wasn't awful and the staff was nice enough, but for nearly $250 for two people on the South Shore we felt like it could've been better, especially with the service issues.
The food was so flavorful. I had the Bibb salad which was crunchy and fresh with a flavorful dressing. The gnocchi with short rib appetizer was phenomenal. Our waitress was attentive and seemed super experienced. The only thing I didn't love was where we were seated. It was cold and had a draft. I feel like the room we were in was an afterthought. Would have loved to sit in the bar which seemed warmer. The fireplaces thing was weird; too high on wall to enjoy.
We had gone to Lucca's last about a year ago, and just loved it, but our experience last night left a lot to be desired. It might have just been an "off" night, but it will be a while before we go back. To start the evening, our server spilled my entire drink breaking even the glass, over both the table and me. She muttered an apology, and moved us to another table. I did expect an offer to have my pants cleaned, but nothing. Being a vegetarian which I clearly mentioned when I ordered the Pappardelle without "protein", I was quite surprised when I received my entre with chicken! I sent it back, and received another order without the chicken which was bland and had a gooey consistency, I only ate a small amount, it was disappointing. The check arrived and surprise surprise, my entre was charged extra "with chicken". I pointed this out to our server and she removed my entre from our tab. I felt that was the least she could have done for the overall disappointing meal not to mention sitting through the meal with wet pants. I can't say perhaps she may have had a tough day, and yes, accidents and mistakes happen, but a server's attitude can make or break a dining experience. I did wonder what may she may have gone through earlier in the day for we all agreed, she was rather abrupt and "off". There were four of us in our party, my husband ordered the Cod, which he said was "ok" but found the meal lacking in flavor. The two other individuals in our party ordered the Arancini which were a bit too spicy, and Caesar salads which they liked. The bread and sage flavored butter were delicious and the best part of the evening. I am sorry to be sharing a negative review, but we were psyched to have a great meal and overall experience, but left the restaurant less than enthused.
We enjoyed a delicious dinner with fantastic service from Julia. She was extremely helpful with any questions we had about the menu, and her super friendly personality made our visit really enjoyable. The bruschetta and crème brûlée were my favorite parts of an outstanding meal.
Carly was the best waitress! The food and drinks were also very good. Will be back again for sure!

Had dinner with my friends and it was an awesome experience! Great recommendations from our server and food quality was outstanding.
We went to Lucca last night (Saturday) and scored seats at the bar. The food was off the charts incredible— House-made pappardelle, butternut squash Alfredo, roasted red peppers, fried sage and Statler Chicken Breast! WOW! 🤩 The bar tenders —Carley, Jean, and Jenny were so friendly and knowledgeable. Beautiful, stylish…and yet a very cozy atmosphere! Huge kudos for hitting is out of the park…food, service, atmosphere! We will see you all soon! Thank you! 🩷

Thank you so much for your attention to our little gathering. The food was outstanding and the staff wonderful
The food was very good, the atmosphere was lively. The Serwer was very friendly and attentive, although did seem a bit overwhelmed. It was a very busy night. I would definitely go back.
