We just worked with the Catered Affair at the Harvard Art Museums for our September 2024 wedding. Matt Regan, our event producer, really did an outstanding job in every respect! Everything about the reception and dinner was run perfectly and smoothly. The food and drinks were also excellent, as we knew they would be from our tasting. (My dad was still raving about the passionfruit wedding cake days after the wedding.) The staff were incredibly professional and competent. We are just so, so happy with TCA. Thank you for giving us our dream wedding!

My regional mommy dentist group (MA, VT, NH) of all women dentists (main group of 10k) have been trying to book an event for MONTHS at the Boston public library and the lack of communication via email because I cannot get a real person on the phone even though I tried calling has been incredibly frustrating to say the least. The person I have been “working with” doesn’t answer emails promptly requiring me to email multiple times and in this last instance caused me to miss our reservation booking (sent her an email in April as to when to schedule for June- she never responded) and now I have to cancel our event. I am beyond frustrated at the lack of response, communication, and unprofessionalism. I am sure the food and presentation is amazing (not sure though because I cannot even reach a real person) but the communication is very VERY poor.

TCA was exceptional! They recently catered our 180 person wedding at Rosecliff mansion in Newport, RI. From the tastings to day-of service, everything was done to perfection. Erica helped us craft our parisian-inspired menu plus signature cocktails. Everyone afterwards was raving about the food! Even one friend said they tried to recreate the appetizer for their dinner party. Thank you Erica and TCA team for making our wedding so spectacular!

Knowing that we wanted to get married at the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA), we quickly found out that The Catered Affair was the exclusive event planner for the ICA. I cannot say enough about how helpful this team was throughout the entire wedding process! They provided a preferred vendor list, coordinated with the rental company, organized the day-of timeline with each vendor, created an incredible menu, and ensured our wedding day went perfectly! Amy and Kelly had incredible attention to detail and helped our wedding vision come together. On top of all of the event coordination, TCA truly delivered EXCEPTIONAL food! We had six incredible passed apps, a mezze spread, signature cocktails, a two-course main meal, and late night snacks.TCA thought of everything; they even assigned a dedicated server to us to make sure we got to try every food item and always had a drink in hand! We would highly recommend TCA for any event!

From initial planning, to execution on our wedding day, The Catered Affair excelled. We delayed our wedding due to COVID and TCA agreed to keep the terms and everything and just move the date (3 times!!)We enjoyed our tasting (great food and wine), their guidance on helping us pick the final menu and beverage, and especially the service on our special day.The servers were flawless, and our guests raved about the dinner service as well as the food. We really liked the fact they did signature cocktails for us (we’re cat lovers and owners, and they came up with special drinks with a feline theme).Trang, our main coordinator, worked closely with our planner and Harvard Art Museum people on all aspects of the reception and was always there throughout to make sure that everything was perfect. We didn't have the serving knife for the cake, and as if by magic, Trang suggested that we used theirs.We recommend them to anyone-they certainly added to our great memories.

The hotel venue for my wedding contracted with TCA this year. It was a new contract so I expected bumps along the way, but overall was disappointed the day of my wedding. TCA was supposed to provide a meat and cheese board to eat while I got ready for the day; it didn’t show up until after I left for the wedding. I attempted to contact them multiple times asking about the food because I relied on what they promised. Instead of telling me they were unable to deliver it on time
