If this is the business that caters Afternoon Tea at Boston Public Library - I have been trying to reach someone to talk with for several days. Someone did return a call to my voicemail and I have called back and still can't reach anyone. I have tried 3 numbers over past several days and yet no direct response. I can't even get a chance to experience this business so there is no chance I can recommend this business as well.

Knowing that we wanted to get married at the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA), we quickly found out that The Catered Affair was the exclusive event planner for the ICA. I cannot say enough about how helpful this team was throughout the entire wedding process! They provided a preferred vendor list, coordinated with the rental company, organized the day-of timeline with each vendor, created an incredible menu, and ensured our wedding day went perfectly! Amy and Kelly had incredible attention to detail and helped our wedding vision come together. On top of all of the event coordination, TCA truly delivered EXCEPTIONAL food! We had six incredible passed apps, a mezze spread, signature cocktails, a two-course main meal, and late night snacks.TCA thought of everything; they even assigned a dedicated server to us to make sure we got to try every food item and always had a drink in hand! We would highly recommend TCA for any event!

We delayed our wedding due to COVID and TCA agreed to keep the terms and everything and just move the date (3 times!!)We enjoyed our tasting (great food and wine), their guidance on helping us pick the final menu and beverage, and especially the service on our special day.The servers were flawless, and our guests raved about the dinner service as well as the food. We really liked the fact they did signature cocktails for us (we’re cat lovers and owners, and they came up with special drinks with a feline theme).Trang, our main coordinator, worked closely with our planner and Harvard Art Museum people on all aspects of the reception and was always there throughout to make sure that everything was perfect. We didn't have the serving knife for the cake, and as if by magic, Trang suggested that we used theirs.We recommend them to anyone-they certainly added to our great memories.

The hotel venue for my wedding contracted with TCA this year. It was a new contract so I expected bumps along the way, but overall was disappointed the day of my wedding. TCA was supposed to provide a meat and cheese board to eat while I got ready for the day; it didn’t show up until after I left for the wedding. I attempted to contact them multiple times asking about the food because I relied on what they promised. Instead of telling me they were unable to deliver it on time

We needed to organize a "micro-wedding" on short notice from long distance. Very, very professional. Erica did a great job working with us and Jen was terrific on the day of the wedding (including getting soaked to the bone in pouring rain without complaint). These folks aren't cheap but everything they did was first class. I recommend them without reservation.
