We made a reservation for the library only to arrive and be told that room isn't available. We always like to book the library because it is much quieter than the downstairs. The hostess talked us into eating downstairs instead of leaving, pointing out the downstairs dining room is quiet - queue the dining room being filled with a party of 12-15 standing around like it's a bar being loud and not sitting at their table. I don't understand allowing reservations to be booked for a particular space and then not honoring it. The noise was overwhelming and we couldn't wait to leave. Our server was very nice, but she was the only pleasant part of our experience. The food was just so-so (the chilli tasted like it was canned) and the atmosphere sucked for a dinner on an early Thursday evening. It also seems like the menu got smaller...? Nothing particularly caught my eye though I've never had that issue before..

The library upstairs in the Bradford Tavern is so cozy and upscale! Only open on weekends, make a reservation, so worth it, Our meals were perfect, we highly recommend seafood casserole and baked haddock...entrees come with 2 sides and are reasonably priced as well. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Looking forward to returning!

Dined in the library room. Denied to be seated next to window. We were the first seated in the Library. Told all tables were reserved. Hostess claimed they were very busy. Two other groups arrived after us. They protested and the hostess seated them where we asked to be seated. Embarrassingly, menu that we were given, was seriously stained with food. Limited entree choices. We ordered baked haddock and seafood scampi. Still looking for the Haddock as the piece was microscopic. Seafood scampi was somewhat bland. This restaurant needs a serious upgrade, The atmosphere the library dining area attempts to portray was completely destroyed by all the above. Do NOT LIE to patrons and then change your story to accommodate other diners. Lastly, Service was impeccable. Server was on point.

The salmon was OK, the rice was like a brick. My dish was missing vegetables, my date's dish was missing the pasta and dressing. We waited a while for the food and then it was incomplete. They offered me a gift certificate which I used to pay for most of the meal. They should have comped the entire bill in my opinion.

We had our daughter’s bridal shower at the Bradford Tavern and it was spectacular! Dawn and Mackenzie were phenomenal. If we needed anything at all they got it for us. The room was beautiful and it went very smoothly all afternoon. The food was excellent and as I said the service top notch! I would have another event there in a heartbeat. 💓

I met a longtime friend for lunch here on a rainy day in July. I had requested a booth and we were immediately shown to one. Very pleasant host and waitstaff. I had the baked haddock and it was the perfect portion for lunch. Veggies and mashed potatoes were fresh and delicious. My friend had a small Caesar salad with a big piece of salmon. Excellent. Waitress was always there when we needed her but not intrusive. Highly recommend!

The food is always excellent. I had the wedge salad and bang bang shrimp. Both were delicious!! I will definitely have them again. Our waiter, Jimmy, is fabulous. He is knowledgeable about the menu, attentive, and always makes us feel welcome. We dine here frequently, and always ask for one of his tables!! We will be back soon.
Although their menu is not very large, it has something for everyone with reasonable prices. Staf is very friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy. Short ribs are a must in this place.

Our table was ready right away. And although our server was very friendly, the service itself was quite slow. We did the buy one get one burger deal, which we didn't know about until we got there, but was definitely worth the money! Overall, the food and drinks were very, very good, But luckily we weren't in a rush because it wasn't fast
