An excellent Massachusetts wedding venue! I'm a wedding photographer and had the pleasure of photographing one of my couple's weddings at Grove. I love it so much that I had to write a venue guide about it on my website.

Everything was great, from visiting one partner in Briar Barn Inn (where they were getting ready) right up until the dance party portion of the reception.

The staff were very kind (to the couple and to the vendors) and everything ran smoothly. I was particularly impressed by how they handled plan changes: this wedding took place during the first storm of the season, so I just had to get the couple outside for some snow pictures. This was no problem though, which was great.

I highly recommend Grove at Briar Barn Inn for your wedding. This cozy venue will take care of you on your big day!

I inquired about having my wedding here. It took your coordinator Shelby over a week to get back to us. Finally after another email she responded. We were finally able to make an appointment to view the barn. We arrived, and kept us waiting over a half hour before she even came to greet us. She looked disheveled as if she just rolled out of bed. She sat us at a dirty table from the wedding the night before to go over numbers. Instead of wiping it down she just said “it was from last nights wedding.” So this place does not clean after events. I asked twice if a specific date was available and her response was “I think so.” She then told us she would have the proposal to us later on that day. I still have not received anything!!! This place is overpriced, includes nothing and has very poor event staff. These are NOT the people you want taking care of you on your wedding day!

The best part about the Grove is sitting outside under the trees and umbrellas, during the summer, while having a leisurely brunch. You feel secluded, well cared for and peaceful. The staff always makes you feel welcome.

We were so happy with our wedding reception held at the Grove at Briar Barn Inn. Our wedding coordinator, Ali, was a pleasure to work with - she was professional, incredibly responsive and so helpful in making sure everything went smoothly the day of the wedding - even coordinating with our individual vendors. Our guests raved about the food and the venue. A wonderful time overall!

We went to this restaurant with high expectations, as we had visited it before. However, our experience during this dinner was horrible. We waited for more than an hour to receive our food. I ordered a steak, but it wasn't hot enough. The burger was just okay. Overall, it did not meet our expectations for a premium restaurant and was not worth the money.

From the very beginning of our planning journey with Grove at Briar Barn Inn, we felt completely confident we had chosen the right place. A special thank you goes to our amazing event coordinator, Jordan Morrissey, who made the entire process feel effortless and personal. Our wedding day itself exceeded all expectations. We felt so present because of Jordan's work behind the scenes. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful the space was and how delicious the food tasted, especially those with food allergies. As the bride, I am gluten-free and there were so many options for me to enjoy! Being able to buy out all 30 rooms at Briar Barn Inn for our guests to stay was such a special touch. Everyone appreciated the quick walk from the reception to their room. It was an unforgettable wedding weekend at Briar Barn Inn from start to finish!

Sunday brunch was delicious. Reasonably priced menus items. Lovely outdoor seating. Inside was lovely but very loud. Friendly staff. Reservations highly recommended.

We had our wedding at The Grove and couldn’t be happier. The venue is beautiful cozy barn vibes with tons of natural light and charm. It rained on our wedding day, but we didn’t mind at all because the indoor space is just as stunning.

Alli, our day-of coordinator, was incredible. Everything ran so smoothly thanks to her. The food was delicious, and guests still talk about the cookies!

As a same-sex couple, we felt totally comfortable and supported. Everyone was kind, professional, and great to work with. They know what they are doing at the Grove. Highly recommend!

From the moment we started the wedding booking process with Grove at Briar Barn Inn, we knew we were in excellent hands. The wedding planning staff was incredibly responsive, professional, and thorough—every question we had, big or small, was answered with care and detail. Especially our event coordinator, Jordan Morrissey, who made the entire experience feel personal and seamless.

Throughout the planning process, the Events Team provided us with so many helpful tools and resources that made organizing everything so much easier. From timelines and checklists to vendor recommendations, we felt completely supported and empowered to plan our dream wedding.

The day of the wedding was absolutely perfect. Jordan was outstanding—calm, attentive, and reassuring. She handled every detail behind the scenes, which allowed us to fully enjoy the day without a single worry. Her presence brought a wonderful sense of peace and joy to the entire experience.

Our guests are still talking about how beautiful and well-run everything was. We received so many compliments about the gorgeous venue, the flawless execution, the warm atmosphere, and the AMAZING food. Many people told us it was one of the most memorable weddings they’ve ever attended.

We are endlessly grateful to Jordan and the entire team at Grove at Briar Barn Inn for making our wedding day so magical. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

We ate in the Burrow Bar due to an event in the larger restaurant.
It was so cozy and quiet!
The food was delicious.
Our waitress was training another waitress. She was very kind and sweet!

Waited 45 minutes for drinks and over an hour for food. Got a salad that wasn't as described and the dressing was supposed to be tahini but they didn't mix it so it was just unflavored oil and I'm so glad I didn't put it all over the salad. Other people at the table got short rib hash and there wasn't any meat and the flavors were not great. Our waitress tried her best but it did not make up for our experience. Would never go back or recommend this place to anyone.

We worked with Alli as our day of coordinator for our wedding on 2/1/25. She was amazing, extremely thorough, detail-oriented and professional. As any other bride, I had many nerves leading up to the wedding day, but all of the planning (with Alli’s help) made the actual wedding day perfectly smooth. I was able to relax and enjoy my day from start to finish while Alli and her team made sure to execute all of our plans as we wished. She made sure to put us first, bringing drinks/apps first and checking in throughout the night. We had an amazing wedding at the Grove and had a very pleasant experience with Alli!
