The worst Thai food. Their noodles are soaked in sugar and tastes and looks disgusting. Not a healthy food for you here. I regret I ordered here.

Food was fantastic. Drunken Noodles were great. My father-In Law LOVED the Garlic Salmon. Satays, Shumai, Dumplings were all very good. We will definitely be back...and soon!

Royal Orchid is the best Thai Restaurant on the North Shore for food and cocktails . In fact we would say that is one of the best Thai restaurants we have ever encountered including in Thailand. Why? Their cocktails are outstanding. Thai restaurant outside the USA typically do not make cocktails. Many in the USA only have beer and wine licenses. We feel having a delicious cocktail is essential to enjoying a great meal. My two favorites are “Long Island Ice Tea” and “Orchid Gimlet.” Both are full of flavor; be warned they do put alcohol in these drinks so make sure you have a designated driver like my wife who is my personal Uber driver😀. Our two favorite food items are Drunken noodles with Tofu and Mango fried rice with shrimp and chicken. Both are bursting with flavor. The service has always been attentive and friendly. The ambience is average and low key. The tables are well spaced. We always go for lunch when it is not crowded. The restaurant is close to the intersection of Route 1 and Route 133 in Rowley.

Oh my GOD the drunk noodles were SOOOOOO GOOD. They were like the best shaped noodles I’ve ever had in my life. Truly life changing. Every bite I’m like how is something so delicious able to exist on this earth. Please try them. Crab rangoons were very good too. Please try the drunken noodles I’m begging you. I literally had to stop eating them to write this review that’s how good they are. Please try the drunken noodles.

After reading the reviews, I was optimistic about the quality of our take-out order. Unfortunately, our food was tasteless and extremely disappointing. I spent over $100.00 for portions that barely fed two people. The wings were soggy. The crab rangoons were small and over fried. The pad thai was chewy and rubbery. The soft-shelled crab was fishy and tasted freezer burnt. The steamed mussels were nice and large but had no flavor. The duck was not crispy and the vegetable with it were somehow brown and tasted burnt. I will never reorder from this restaurant.

I ordered take out today for the first time from Royal Orchid hoping to find a new spot in Rowley. I got the Tofu Labb and the Spicy Basil Tofu. The flavors were fine, nothing special, but what really bothered me was that there were only three small pieces of tofu in the basil tofu and the to-go box was only half full. I literally thought this must be a joke. I am frustrated. A few veggies and three pieces of tofu is not a proper dinner. The order was almost $40 with rice. I will not be returning.

We have been going to RO for years and have never been disappointed in the food or experience. We have been to all the Thai spots within 20 miles of us, and this has consistently been our go-to. Great authentic flavors and a very nice atmosphere. highly recommend!

Dined in with my infant. The wait staff was lovely. The vegetarian pad thai was flavorful. As others have noted, the portion size was on the small side. I definitely recommend this place if you are in Rowley!
