The donuts are very good, their are freshly made! But, the "real fruit smoothies" has absolutely NO fruit in it...And the employee aren't welcoming and are unhelpful when we ask questions about the menu. We just feel like we annoy them more than anything.

Once you make it past the ordering stage, this place is an absolute gem. The women working the counter were very nice, and they kept repeating orders as it got busy to ensure they got everybody's right. The food is 1000% nourishment for the soul with just the right amount of greasiness to the hashbrown and everything cooked perfectly. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese with hashbrown on a croissant and was the happiest person eating it. The place is fairly small, but there is ample seating given that most people ordered takeout. Excellent breakfast spot!

Mikes' Donut, a charming haven on 1524 Tremont St A, Boston, MA 02120, has been a neighborhood treasure for YEARS. The friendly and ever-smiling ladies behind the counter create an inviting atmosphere. The donuts? Always fresh. The coffee? Consistently warm. Locals, steadfast since day one, gather for morning coffees with newspapers in hand.My personal favorite? The egg and cheese on French toast bread – absolutely divine! Mike's Donut offers not just delightful treats but a timeless sense of community. Here's to many more years of joyous mornings at this beloved spot!

The two women behind the counter were quite rude, I ordered a small coffee and a glazed donut and they gave a lot of attitude, seemingly upset about my order. They handed me my donut and then dispensed the coffee from a large carafe and microwaved it in the paper cup. This was alarming, as the cup is not a microwaveable cup, they melted plastic into my coffee, and how old is the coffee that it needed to be microwaved? Needless to say the coffee was awful. Two stars because the donut was mediocre and not awful. Additionally the table I sat at was filthy despite the place being empty.

Great neighborhood place, practically the same price as chains like Dunkin, with fresh and tasty food

Best old school style donuts in Boston - if you love donuts but not the expensive trendy donut shops this is the place for you.

Solid local spot. The prices are very reasonable. The service is quick and kind. There's space to sit and read the Globe. A local institution.

They sell good donuts at a reasonable price. We went to several different shops today on a donut safari, and Mikes was my favorite. The selection wasn't awesome and what they had weren't always clearly labelled, but they were good, honest donuts. The breakfast sandwiches looked tasty and were at the cheap end of the spectrum. If I lived in the neighborhood I'd eat here on a regular basis.

Without a shadow of a doubt Mike's Donuts is one of THE best coffee/donut shops in Mission Hill. From the bustling atmosphere to the kind women behind the counter serving us it is always a pleasant experience. It is hard to go wrong with anything on their menu. My go to favorite is the Ham, Egg, and Cheese on an English Muffin with hash brown. And let me say this, always get with hash brown, they are some of the best hash browns I have ever had, and stand to do nothing but elevate an already good tasting sandwich. Their coffee is good as well, they brew New England Coffee which always has an acceptable taste. I would recommend Mike's Donuts to anyone from college students recovering from a late night out, to just looking to get a worthwhile breakfast. 10/10

Just had a variety of their donuts and muffins at a child’s birthday party. Delicious!! Super fresh and tasty! Thanks for sharing! :)

Friendly staff, lots of regulars come here, I popped in because I wanted a fresh glazed donut and a small hot coffee. Perfect treat on a chilly April weekend afternoon. Prices are very reasonable. I will be back!

We arrived around noon on a Saturday and while we know it's a bit on the later side, we were disappointed to see they were pretty much cleared out. I thought it would have been stocked more similarly to their pastry shops, but it was vastly different. The woman with the short hair behind the counter wasn't very friendly, bordering on rude. Especially in comparison to the other woman with the blond hair who was more pleasant. We grabbed the last cinnamon roll, 2 glazed donuts, an egg with cheese on a croissant and a cold brew. The cold brew was $6, seems kinda steep. The glazed so nuts were good, I'd definitely get them again. But it was downhill from there. Coffee was mediocre, the cinnamon bun tasted like the ones you can get at a NYC food truck. The croissant was practically burnt (I didn't ask for hit to be toasted), and the egg was seemingly pre-made a la Dunkin. That was kind of a bummer because the croissant looked good on the shelf.
