I wanted to try Dayib Cafe after 2days of Ashur but their register machine was down, I later went to Ashur for the 3rd day.

Dayib Cafe exceeded our expectations! It's a hole-in-a-wall restaurant, so don't let the sparse decor scare you away. There is no menu because it's simple enough - choices of goat, lamb (shank or kabob), chicken, rice, spaghetti, and others we can't remember - to choose from. The chef immediately cooked our selections of lamb kabob and chicken with rice to order, and out came these massive platters of food! Each platter also came with fresh salad veggies and a stewed greens, potatoes and onions. So flavorful and would highly recommend the smoky red and bright green hot sauces if you want a good kick in your meal. We couldn't finish between the two of us, so if you order a platter, bring a healthy appetite. Cash only joint so be prepared! Can't wait to come back again soon!

Quick take-out Somali on a quieter corner down Dudley. Big serving sizes!
This place is dope - friendly folks, exceptional food, and as others who are living on this planet have said, solid portions for the price. The chicken kebab was one of the best I've ever had. As an aside - who feels the need to start a review with "I am not afraid of muslims"? And the rest of their profile too... good grief. Anya honey, you aren't fooling anyone - with how hateful you seem, no wonder your husband ends up in the ER. #TagYaMan
